How runny is this?My driveway is at a very slight angle, and worried that this will dribble down the crack. I ask because the product is self leveling

Asked by: Nojo
Get the caulk instead, as this product is like a thin cream soup.

Could I use it to seal a cracked opened a wooden joint? Like door, cabinet, etc..? If not what should I use instead ?

Asked by: Tom
No, this product is not viable for your needs. I recommend https://www.homedepot.com/p/3M-Bondo-12-fl-oz-Wood-Filler-30081/206680651 Be sure to follow label instructions realizing that working time is short.

What is the linear coverage of this product for a crack approx 1/4" wide. I have approx 60' that needs to be repaired in a driveway and I need to know about how many bottles it would take for the repair of 1/4" cracks at 60' in length.
Asked by: drivewayrepair
A one quart (946 ml) bottle will fill a ¼” x ½” (6 x 12 mm) crack 38’ (11.6 M) long. If your crack is ¼” x ¼”, you would need only one bottle. If it is very deep, you might need considerably more.

Only drawback was not being able to get 100% out of squeeze bottle as it is pretty thick, difficult to stir. Advise to have bottle shaken in paint dept before leaving store. Adheres good when dries. Would like to see longer tipped cap.

It works great for filling small cracks but beware. Home Depot doesn’t appear to rotate their stock and if it sits in the store for an extended time period, it becomes almost impossible to shake or stir to a consistency that can easily be applied, otherwise big clogs of it plug the nozzle and it can be difficult to clean. If you have multiple Home Depot’s it will be well worth your while to test the bottles before you purchase it. If they feel hard (difficult to squeeze) towards the mid-point or bottom, keep looking until you find a newer on at that store or at another store. It will be well worth your time to find a “fresh” bottle of it rather than try and use a partially hardened one. Ouikcrete would be well served to put a shelf life date on the bottles so buyers can avoid the ones that are older. Too bad Home Depot doesn’t keep their stock turning over or throwing it out. It would be better to pay more for a fresh product than deal with the aggravation caused by the product having st on the shelf too long. If you can’t find a fresh bottle, I recommend you empty the contents of what you purchased into a small paint buck and use a paint stirrer on a cordless drill to mix it and then discard the remaining globs before putting it back into the squeeze bottle for use.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Quick Fix First, when opening the product for use you have to remove that inner seal - save it!!! After you cut the tip and use it that plastic tip cover does NOT seal the product good for later use and it will harden. After use, and if you have product left over put that seal back under the lid as well as that tip cover! Product use is simple. For those hairline cracks after you put some product on it use one of those HD throw away $1 paint brushes and blend it into that surface For deeper crack you may need more than one coating as it will absorb into the crack It does work well but after I have the cracks fill I blend with a throwaway brush especially if I'm painting over it On smooth surface I clean up like caulking so it looks nice before drying It's $10 product so if you know your not going to use the remaining portion of product then use a piece of plastic wrap over that inner seal, then the cap and keep from freezing in the garage and it will last

This was on a special box in the aisle of the concrete area. This had to be OLD STOCK, as i was shaking it ALOT, and it still was a solid mess inside the bottle. I still need to return this item, as I was trying to do a job two hours away. The Home Depot in North Hampton, NH absolutely should accept this for a replacement. This OLD STOCK messed up my work schedule pretty significantly.

After I removed all the old "bad" caulking, I replaced it with Quikrete Concrete Crack Sealant. It is extremely easy to pour and use, and with it's self leveling capability it was super simple to apply and look like a pro had done it! I definitely would use this product again.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from choose wisely As far as the product itself goes, it works fine. The packaging could be upgraded to prevent the product from drying out. I purchased 5 bottles to fill random cracks in my driveway and garage, 3 out of the 5 had already started to dry out due to the seal on the bottle being damaged and letting air in. Take your time and unscrew the toos and make sure they are sealed properly.

The Product had been on the Shelf for a very long time and had partially solidified in the Bottle, instead if having to incur the lost time taking it back, I used a Paint Mixer in My Drill to get the Product mixed to a useable form, since this is a product with active concrete in the ingredients, I don't feel this has a very long Shelf Life and should be rotated more often.

The product did not come with a seal under the nozzle screw cap but the nozzle cap closed tightly with a click. Repaired two foot crack in concrete furnace room floor 1/4" to 1/2" wide, 1.5" deep. Cut the nozzle diagonally so it fit most of the crack widths. Placed material in warm water for twenty minutes before each use and shook well. Poured easily with no clogging. Applied in 1-4 layers depending on width of crack. Each application either dried to concrete hardness or at least to a putty consistency by one day and all dried completely by 3 days. Rinsed the nozzle thoroughly in warm water and reamed out with a bent paper clip after each use. There was no change in the product consistency between initial opening and after 4 applications over a couple of weeks. Was not exactly self leveling and was a somewhat different color from the floor but this was not a concern.
