I received this vacuum a few years ago for Christmas. It is used to clean out my wood stove. Great Little vacuum cleaner.

i bought ridgid vaccuum 1 year ago and still in good condition even im using it everyday in my cleanig business. very handy and useful in every type of cleaning business

I purchased the 10-gallon stainless WD1060 vacuum. I was handing the vacuum down from an attic opening with my friend below. The vacuum had bacteria (Zoogloea) laden water inside as I have just sucked out an air conditioner drain line that was completely clogged. As I was lowering the vacuum down through the attic hatch, with my friend holding the vacuum from below, the plastic latch/ handles gave out and the drum crashed down onto the stepladder, tilted over, splashed the contents (which is fairly disgusting) all over my friend and then down onto the hallway carpet. Quite the disgusting mess and my friend drenched.... Looking at the design of the handles, it is VERY easy for the handles to pop off of the very small round plastic pins when there is some weight in the drum. The handles do not lock in on the pins (they slip on) and look like they are designed more for easy assembly at the factory than ensuring something like what happened to us doesn't ever happen. I probably had two gallons of water in the vacuum, so not that heavy, but not that light either. Very disappointing design. I modified the handles by drilling a pilot hole into the round pins and adding a washer and screw to lock in the latches. After adding the screws I filled the drum with water up to the vacuum hole and I could lift the vacuum by the handle securely. The latch/handle is OK being plastic, but the other parts should be metal. I have added pictures of how I added the screws. I used 3 drill bits to make the hole to make sure I didn't split the plastic.

I had to replace my old shop vac of 36 years. Sad to see it go, but this new one is a delight to use. I would highly recommend

It’s rare but annoying when the nozzle comes adrift during vacuuming so this range of locking accessories for Ridgid’s popular 2 ½ inch wet and dry shop vac’s is very useful to have. The locking mechanism itself is simple but strong and effective. Made of high quality plastic the accessory attachments fit the existing range of Ridgid shop vac’s without the need for any modification of the original vacuum tubes and extensions. In fact, there is no reason why these locking accessories will not fit any brand of 2 ½ inch vacuums.

I received my 2-1/2 in. Locking Accessory Utility Nozzle for Wet/Dry Vacs today. I have tried it out and it works really well. It is nice to get in tight spots and you do not have to worry about the end falling off. My old Ridge wet dry vac. does not have the locking set up but the wand still fits the same and still works well. I wish my hole system was locking. About time that made these.

I bought this model to replace my older wet/dry vac. Very happy with 10 gallon size. Does everything I need. I also love that this model was has greater CFM capacity over my older vac. Having larger volume CFM really helps with sanding projects and capturing more suspended dust particles. Price was very fair.

The vacuum performed way better than I thought. It performed awesome, better than the brand we had before.

Replacing my old shop vac was a no brainer when I saw the RIGDID vac with the combined blower. I love this 10 Gallon Stainless Steel Wet / Dry Vac! I’ve owned it for several years now. I have a couple of other larger Ridgid Vac’s but this one works perfect for use in my Garage. Big enough to handle any job but small enough that it’s very easy to move around and store. Works amazingly well and has a ton of power. I use it most for keeping our vehicles clean but it also makes cleaning up equipment after completing projects quick and easy. It’s one great looking and very dependable Vac! You won’t be disappointed.

Got this. 10 gal. Does an excellent job around the house & in your truck. Wet - dry sucking action

Bought it over a year ago and had a chance to test it in various projects. This thing has a sucking power! It is easy to assembly and take apart. Tank is washable with garden hose or powerwasher. Has a nice filter mounting mechanism, does not require get your hands dirty when cleaning, unlike other brands. I would definitely buy another one if I needed.

I have had this vac for several years now and could not be happier I have even bought similar ones for family as gifts. Other brands I have tried once you vacuum water seems like they seize a short time later. I have used mine for concrete grinding, floods, dust collection while wood working and it has stood up. I could not be happier

I've had this vacuum for six years and it's been trouble free every since! I even use it to clean out the fireplace!

Would be better if it had an articulated joint.

Bought this a remodel project. Works excellent great suction. Very Happy with it.

I’ve had this vacuum/blower for close to eight years, maybe even nine it’s never let me down. The suction power is great, and the blowing feature will push water quite a distance in 2” pipe with ease

The barrel is in good stainless steel, but the bolts for handles are already rusting after only one month.

Ive had this Vac a couple of years now & I'm completely satisfied with the amount of suction I have with both the bag & cartridge filter inside the tank. The bag hepa filter stops all the dust from escaping out in any area I may be working in. This is very important in customers houses! I would most deffinetly recommend & buy another one again!

I recieved this as a present and have been using it for both vaccuming and dust collection while connected to my table saw and mitre saw. The suction is very strong and eliminates most of the dust that the machines produce leaving my shop alsmost dust free. I would recommend this vac.

I bought this for my son and I to use around the house and have been very happy with the product. It’s clean design and availability of keeping all your attachments close is a bonus. Really great product.
