Q:I bought the 2-1/2" by 20' Tug-A-Long Locking Vacuum hose. One end has a latch, one doesn't. I want to connect the empty end to the Hose Grip Accessory but nothing seems to fit together right.

Attachments are not universal with Rigid
I have a model WD-4070 and need a carpet attachment with rolling wheels but the one you sell is not compatible with my model. How can this be? Your accessories need to be universal.

Thanks for writing a review. We have the Carpet and Hard Floor Nozzle Accessory (VT2530). However, you will need to have an adapter to make it work with your WD4070 and that is included on the 3-piece adapter set (VT1755). You may get this through Home Depot stores or online. It is a decent design and serves 2 sizes. I needed the smaller size for my small portable vacuum cleaner. I have to create a slot at the tip to prevent air flow lockout. Now it works just fine.
The slot is just my idea, my resourceful solution of preventing the vacuum lockout.

dusting brush bad; other tools great
i have the standard 2 1/2" hose wand utility wet car nozzles crevice tool floor & round brushes & have to say everything except the dusting brush is great. the dusting brush bristles are too stiff for delicate surfaces; & the brush body is hard plastic
