    Does the Job
For the money not bad. I did about 20 sq. ft of kitchen Backsplash with it. It's in and looks good. Once and a while it will chip a very small piece of the corner of your cut. I didn't mind and put them on my grout lines. The blade that comes with it is definitely bottom line. I wonder if you put a better diamond blade on it if that would help the chips. It could have been my travel speed on the cuts because when I fed it faster it seemed to help. The specs indicate it runs a couple thousand RPMs slower than the higher end saws. However, if you're looking for something very reasonably priced that will do the job It will work.

      Worth the money
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought it for my shower DIY project. Not perfect, but works better than I expected. Can also cut metal tile edging at 45°

        Installed my own tile!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I installed 1,200 SF of porcelain tile in my own home. Many cuts were NO problem. Portability was great too.

1st Time to Cut Tile - Easy to use
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I decided to try my hand at tiling a floor for the 1st time ever, so I purchased this 7" wet saw to re-tile my laundry room. I was very impressed and had no issues whatsoever cutting tile for the edges of my project. Was a little worried that the tile would move around or shoot off when cutting, but it really was quite easy to do. Couple of usage tips: 1. Make sure the blade is screwed on quite tight, otherwise it will start to wobble. 2. Make sure the plastic guard is down pretty low, or you will get a little wet from the water spray. 3. I didn't really have any tile fragments shoot in the direction of my face when cutting, but please make sure to wear eye protection. The tile can also be a bit loud when cutting, so I recommend ear plugs too. I have other Ryobi tools and I'd definitely recommend.

Nice tile saw for the price
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The time saw does what it is supposed to do, is easy to use, and accommodates a relatively large piece of tile. My only complaint is that the blade itself that comes with the unit did not cut as cleanly as I would have liked; however, overall, it was a good purchase.

              Not bad
I bought Ryobi WS722 7in. Tile Saw very recently for my bathroom renovation and it cuts well with minimal chipping through the porcelain tiles I need, good performance for its price, quite happy with it. The only change I would like to suggest is deeper bevels to come with the bevel table, which would catch the debris better for smoother workflow with less interruption for wiping off the debris after each cut. Otherwise thumbs up, I would recommend this product.

Met my expectations for the price. Tiled a 6’x7’ bathroom with 24”x12” tile. (You can’t use the locking guide to make a 12” cut though. Have to free hand it, which is easy.) I didn’t need to cut any bevel cuts, but easy to use. Used it in my basement and water system completely controlled the dust. Purchased on sale so worth the purchase instead of rental (which H.D. was out of anyways), which I’m sure my kids will need to borrow at some point. I used the original blade to complete the project (porcelain tile), but anlso ordered a thinner/better diamond blade for next time.

                Garbage, rent a saw instead
Honestly, if you want perfect cuts renting a high quality machine might be best. Working with the HD subway tile, 3x9 subway for a backsplash. The guide/table itself is not very good. Tile gets stuck even if the table is clean. —Have to us a square before each cut. —Blade went bad after a couple cuts and rusted in 4 hours first day. Need dressing block. It’s $100 bucks what do you expect? If you are going to use an edged trim or able to hide your cuts maybe this is a good tool for you.

Home depot keeps selling used items as new
Has actually nothing to do with the product but rather that home Depot on rue st Antoine keeps selling used and returned items as new. This is the second time I bought a Ryobi tool (first one was a router table) that has been obviously used before. Unfortunately I'm a bit under time pressure and had to use it. this should be illegal what they are doing and probably is

it does NOT have 20" rip capacity.
two things: 1) be warned, it does NOT have a 20" rip capacity. The deck is 20" wide making the rip capacity 10" on either side of the blade. I had to cut a bunch of 24" tiles to 20" and bought it specifically for this reason. 2) Check the fence. Mine clamped non-parallel to the blade causing any rips to bind against the blade. I had to physically force it into square. I could have adjusted it, but then I couldn't have returned it. I have "fixed" bad tools before and been told no returns after you try to "fix" them.

                          Works well but RUSTS
Wet tile saw really help to speed up our backsplash installation. We put away the saw after using it for our first project was extremely disappointed that the screws on the saw completely rusted when I unpacked it a few months later for another project. The screws that held the the splash hood was so rusty it was not possible to use them to attach the hood back on. Since the tile saw has a wet application, I am so disappointed in this development.

Blade not usable, uneven table and weak motor
20 year old inexpensive wet saw broken. Tried to upgrade to this Ryobi. Included blade wobbled so bad it broke any tile it tried to cut and the whole machine had heavy vibration. Installed my own blade and fixed that issue. The right side tilting table sits lower than the left side by 1/8 inch. That also causes broken tiles. Using the bevel function works poorly. Cannot push a tile in a straight line due to uneven hinge area underneath. Lastly, the motor bound after 6 tiles. Return.

                                  Great, versatile tile saw
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve used a lot of commercial tile saws through the years, so I was a little hesitant to buy a small table top tile saw from my local Home Depot. The saw cut very well it was very easy to use and maintain. It is a great value and a very useful tool.

Affordable, works on subway glass mosaic tile
Bought this for a kitchen backsplash. Saw worked great on most cuts. It also did a good job ripping the tiles horizontally along the full length of tile. I had very few break during cutting - primarily the piece on the outside of blade

ok if cut edges will be hidden by baseboard
I used this saw to cut porcelain 6x12 tile for the perimeter of a 7x5 laundry room. It was ok. Cutting was hard...you had to push the tile hard, almost if though the blade was dull. Every cut edge was rough and notched/chipped at the end.

If there was a way to rate lower than 1, I would. Even after buying a better blade, there was little improvement.

90 mile round trip to get. Put together and the blade on the front could cut into the table if I turned it on. 90 miles back to return it. So yes.... I'm keeping the cheap blade it came with. Very disappointing to loose another day.

For the price you cant go wrong. Very basic. Nothing fancy with this tile saw. Easy to use. Easy to clean. The tile guide doesnt work well with smaller tiles and it doesnt slide very smoothly. I took the plastic guide off and used the staight metal slide as my guide similar to a stanard table saw.

I bought this because I was redoing a shower floor with 12"x12" sheets of 2" square porcelain tiles. This saw did great and made the job super easy. The cuts were all straight and clean (no chipping). I had to cut angles and that worked great too. Overall this made the job look more professional and saved a ton of time!

                                                  Great for tile
After purchasing a blue hawk tile cutter that couldn’t cut paper, I’ve left any tile cutting to the pros. But after taking off work to have my floor tile done & my tile layers bailed I thought I’d give it a try & am SO glad I did. I’ve never operated a saw in my life so was a little intimidating at first but was shockingly easy & safe to use even free hand. One thing difficult to avoid it chipping the end no matter how slow I go. I was using porcelain tile & cuts were essentially straight outside of fixing chipped ends. I still think it came out awesome seeing as how it’s my first try. I don’t know what they could change to have the ends not chip but should be looked into.

                                                    Worked GREAT!
I bought this saw to cut tile for the first time. I was doing a mosaic tile floor in my powder room. I first bought the nippers and they worked horribly. I tried using a manual tile cutter and that was an utter failure. I bought this saw based on reviews and price. I had never don ANY tile work before. The tile was 12x12 sheets of mosaic tile. I took my time and this saw cut through with no problem at all. I practiced on some of the tile that I ruined using the manual cutters. After that, it was a breeze. I liked the water in the bottom of the saw. I have no reference for any other methods, but it worked out well for me. I didnt get any chipping on the cut edges. This saw was awesome. After doing my powder room, I am looking forward to doing the spare bath and the master bathroom. I may even go for the kitchen floor and back splash. I enjoyed using this saw and am super pleased with the out come. Just go slow and it should work.
