Can this blade cut slate 1 1/2 thick.
Asked by: Stu
I guess it depends on your machine. I have a skill saw table top tile cutter and the blade protrudes 11/2" so it would work.

Can I use Item # 617-110 to cut glass smoothly

Can I use Item # 617-110 to cut glass smoothly
Asked by: Sam
I used this 7 in. diamond blade on my $99 wet saw and cut my glass backsplash tile and was extremely happy how clean of a cut I got. You probably already know this, but cutting glass tile like this it is very important to go easy with your cut and of course ease into each cut. I did 21 feet length of backslash and 15 inches high was the glass tile mesh. The tile I was cutting cost me over $1500 total so it was very important not to waste any tile. I got almost no chips with my cuts, the only chips I saw were small enough to still use and were my fault by not being careful. I included a picture to show the tile I was cutting. Easily cut around the outlets.
