Q:How do I change the blade?

Answer This Question
A: Hello, Nmma - Thank you for your question. To remove tile cutting wheel: Remove bevel table. Slide the hex wrench over the wheel arbor nut. Using other hand, slide arbor wrench onto wheel arbor. Hold arbor wrench firmly to prevent the wheel from moving. Turn arbor nut counterclockwise to loosen. Remove arbor nut, outer wheel washer, and cutting wheel. To install new wheel; Remove bevel table. Slide inner wheel washer onto arbor, with small diameter side flush against the motor. Always install the inner wheel washer before placing wheel on arbor. Failure to do so could cause an accident since the wheel will not tighten properly. Never use wheels that have openings, grooves, or teeth on this tool. Place the cutting wheel onto arbor and over sleeve on inner washer, slide flat against inner washer. Be sure the arrows on the cutting wheel are going in the counterclockwise direction. Place outer wheel washer onto arbor and larger diameter flush against the cutting wheel. The double “D” flats on the wheel washers align with the flats on the arbor. Install arbor nut onto arbor. Using wheel wrench and arbor wrench, tighten arbor nut securely. I hope this helps! Not bad
I bought Ryobi WS722 7in. Tile Saw very recently for my bathroom renovation and it cuts well with minimal chipping through the porcelain tiles I need, good performance for its price, quite happy with it. The only change I would like to suggest is deeper bevels to come with the bevel table, which would catch the debris better for smoother workflow with less interruption for wiping off the debris after each cut.
Otherwise thumbs up, I would recommend this product.

Met my expectations for the price. Tiled a 6’x7’ bathroom with 24”x12” tile. (You can’t use the locking guide to make a 12” cut though. Have to free hand it, which is easy.) I didn’t need to cut any bevel cuts, but easy to use. Used it in my basement and water system completely controlled the dust. Purchased on sale so worth the purchase instead of rental (which H.D. was out of anyways), which I’m sure my kids will need to borrow at some point. I used the original blade to complete the project (porcelain tile), but anlso ordered a thinner/better diamond blade for next time.

Garbage, rent a saw instead
Honestly, if you want perfect cuts renting a high quality machine might be best. Working with the HD subway tile, 3x9 subway for a backsplash.
The guide/table itself is not very good. Tile gets stuck even if the table is clean.
—Have to us a square before each cut.
—Blade went bad after a couple cuts and rusted in 4 hours first day. Need dressing block.
It’s $100 bucks what do you expect? If you are going to use an edged trim or able to hide your cuts maybe this is a good tool for you.

it does NOT have 20" rip capacity.
two things: 1) be warned, it does NOT have a 20" rip capacity. The deck is 20" wide making the rip capacity 10" on either side of the blade. I had to cut a bunch of 24" tiles to 20" and bought it specifically for this reason.
2) Check the fence. Mine clamped non-parallel to the blade causing any rips to bind against the blade. I had to physically force it into square. I could have adjusted it, but then I couldn't have returned it. I have "fixed" bad tools before and been told no returns after you try to "fix" them.

Works well but RUSTS
Wet tile saw really help to speed up our backsplash installation. We put away the saw after using it for our first project was extremely disappointed that the screws on the saw completely rusted when I unpacked it a few months later for another project. The screws that held the the splash hood was so rusty it was not possible to use them to attach the hood back on. Since the tile saw has a wet application, I am so disappointed in this development.

Blade not usable, uneven table and weak motor
20 year old inexpensive wet saw broken. Tried to upgrade to this Ryobi. Included blade wobbled so bad it broke any tile it tried to cut and the whole machine had heavy vibration. Installed my own blade and fixed that issue. The right side tilting table sits lower than the left side by 1/8 inch. That also causes broken tiles. Using the bevel function works poorly. Cannot push a tile in a straight line due to uneven hinge area underneath. Lastly, the motor bound after 6 tiles. Return.
