Love this tiller ..so easy to install necessary tool was also included. We have remote land and this worked great. I would highly recommend this tiller.

This is a very good battery powered tiller. It’s not as powerful as a gas powered machine but it has several advantages over gas powered tillers. First, it is much lighter than a similar sized gas machine which makes it easier to move around. Second, you can’t beat the convenience of a battery system and not having to fill it with gas and oil. Also, it has one of the widest tilling blades compared to other battery tillers. Finally, it is well made and assembly is easy, especially if you follow the online video.

Works well with soft ground and for small gardens. The battery doesn’t last very long.

Very pleased with this little tiller. Heavy enough to get the job done and light enough for a seventy plus woman to handle. Tilled new ground like a charm. Thanks RYOBI for a good product.

works good but light wight so it doesn't dig deep each pass. also binds up easy in weeds. I found that I had to mow the weeds down and rake them or they get tangled in the tungs and gear box. causing it to keep shutting down

Okay, ive owned wuite a few gas tillers. That being said, the industry is moving towards battery powered equipment these days and i needed a new tiller so i figured why not ? The tiller unboxes and sets up un less than 10 minutes if you’ve already got a small impact driver with a 9/16 socket on it. The instructions were clear and concise. The performance i would give about a 7 out of 10 compared to a similar gas powered tiller at a bit chraper of a price point. Definitely more power than I expected. The main snd only real complaint that i can think of is he battery. The battery that came with the unit ( 6ahr) only lasted about 10 minutes. And when the unit wouod no longer turn back on the battery indicator would have 2 bars. However, when i throw it on the charger it says its full ? Luckily i have several spares and they do just fine. For lite work i could highly reccomend it! It’s more han capable of the 8 inch depth advertised. That being said, you can spend significantly less and get a gas powered unit thats just as capable .. and probably will not vome with a defective battery ( sorry Ryobi, but thats just bad lol)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Upon first use, I set this beast on the slowest setting for the initial pass. Much to my surprise I had to run to keep up with it, or pull it back with all my might to force it to dig in. A much slower setting is really required! Then I tried it on softer ground and found that it would easily dig a hole. To avoid this I had to manhandle this thing up and down and sideways to get it to advance. So somewhere in between packed soil and rotovated soil this might work. Maybe I should try it in the early spring instead. I though I could use it in between rows for weed control but I was afraid it would jump onto the crop.

This Tiller is Awesome. It tilled up new ground with no problem.

When I first opened this thing I thought. "What did I buy? A Toy?". After working with it about 10 minutes I found out that it isn't a toy. It's the real thing. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a good tiller/cultivator. Since buying it, I've purchased more Ryobi tools than any other brand

Loved adding this to my collection. This tiller did a great job tilling the ground for a mew flower bed. It did bog down a bit initially but that was because of all the grass and the soil. After the first pass we raked the grass out and made another pass with the tiller and it tore through the dirt with ease. The included 6ah battery was awesome and lasted a long time, i didnt even use half of it. This tiller was also unbelievably quiet. Very impressed with this tiller. I always love ryobi tools but this is beyond expectations

I have to admit that I was a bit skeptical at first. The machine is somewhat lightweight but did an impressive job in our garden. The soil it tilled had not been tilled since last summer. The tiller went through easily. Not recommend for new ground. My only complaint is that the batteries do not last longer than maybe 20 minutes each. This makes them way overpriced. Depending on the size of area, you will need at least 4 batteries to complete the job. That's about $800 for just the batteries!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought it last Saturday....It works great....After watching so many YouTube videos complaining battery time, I was nervous...but happy to report that, I managed to finish mowing a small front yard and a small backyard with one battery fully charged...probably around 15 minutes....The fast charger which is supposed to fully charge the battery in less 30 minutes is a bit disappointing as it took me a lot longer than 30 minutes (probably close to 60 minutes) to fully charge a battery...the regular charger that came with the trimmer/blower combo kit takes about the same amount of charging time

This machine was very easy to put together, did not take a lot of time to get it ready to use. My only issue and why I did not give it 5 stars is because of the cotter pins used to hold the tines in place. I understand it makes it easier to take off the tines and adjust them. However, first use one of the cotter pins came out and I lost the main pin. Do no till over grass, mow it down to dirt first. Fast speed drains the battery quickly. Slow does the job and longer battery life.

This is great for existing beds and small gardens. This tiller is well designed and easy to use. I would NOT recommend for hard/heavy thatched soil, but if you have existing beds or a small garden that needs maintaining it is the perfect tool.

The easiest tiller I have ever used and very quiet too. The wheels down tilling with adjustable depths and the included drag stake really help control this tiller so well I can till with one hand! Whether you are breaking up new soil with grass on top or tilling up garden beds for planting, the powerful motor gets the job done. I love the mound of dirt left behind by this tiller, makes planting very easy.
