This seal has a nice tone and has done well thus far. The only downside is that it is taking a lot of it for the wood to coat.

Ready seal is a great product I use it for all of my wood working projects. The product penetrates deep in to the wood for lasting protection.

Best oil based stain for fences and decks. Even used it on my trailer to protect the floor.

We chose Mission Brown color for our new deck job. Even though the deck was constructed from new pine boards, we had waited about 3 months before trying to stain it. After using Clorox Bleach and water to clean the deck and waiting a couple of days for it to dry, we applied Ready Seal with no problems. The color matched the color shown on the Ready Seal site. We applied the stain with a 4 inch chip brush which worked very well. So far the stain is holding up well in summer sun and rain. We are very happy with the product and would use it again.

Beautiful dark brown color. Simple to apply. No spar urethane steps required afterward. All in one.

Says "never runs" on the outside of the can. What a lie! It's extremely thin and non-viscous, and was little better than putting linseed oil on the wood I was staining. Ran and dripped all over the place. It's also an oil-based, not latex stain, please note. I only bought it because the small Home Depot I shop at didn't carry a dark brown latex stain. I went back and painted over it with the too-orange latex redwood stain.

this is by far the WORST product I have ever used! It leaves your deck greasy and slippery - coverage was horrible! I purchased it based on other reviews so disappointing. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY
