If you're buying a Rheem takes for water heater you're going to need this and the complete ventilation system.

Worked great. Went on great, I had no problems at all in installing this product.

Excellent product, that fits together easily, has silicone seal, comes with self tapping screws, and is self cooled by the concentric layers. No need to make separate intake and exhaust holes. But expensive, so keep runs short.

The only reason for 4 stars is because you cannot buy this in the store. Other wise this is a great product.

Easy to install, with very good silicone rubber seals, and I'll keep on using these as long as you keep making them available.

While I don't normally rate stuff like this as they have one function and do that job just fine. I need to write that this product is proprietary. By that I mean it only works with its self. Hence since no Home Depots stock these items you have to figure out how much you need and order correctly or spend vast amounts of money on extra piping to then return the unused ones. In this particular install I needed an 18" piece and while one of my other big box stores did carry this style ducting in stock, it turned out to not be Rheem brand and would not fit. This caused me to halt my install for 5 days because of shipping and left the customer without hot water during this time... not good. My recommendations are if you are installing using this product to figure out what you need and then order one extra of each piece 6, 12, 18, 24, & 36 then return them. That is probably an additional $300.00 in cost.

The sections slipped into place easily once you carefully aligned all of the connection points.
