Unit itself was easy to install, a little heavy to get in spot, used block and tackle araingment to lift in place. Took two days, changed major plumbing coming into house. No more heating 50 gallon every time.

This is an excellent tankless hot water heater- however be warned, my contractor contacted several plumbers to install it while he was doing a kitchen and bathroom renovation in my three bedroom/1 bath house- and they would not install it. They wanted $1600 for the brand they use, etc. My contractor ended up putting it in himself, which saved me a ton of money. He ended up putting the drip pan underneath for easy access for yearly maintenance, which we don't mind. Our hot water never runs out, and I am super pleased with it.

Reliability and longevity. Owned two Rinnai’s. First was in home built in 2007 and sold in 2022. That Rinnai is still going strong with only service call to replace one part about 5 years ago. Purchased new home with a new Rinnai installed in 2023. Look forward to many years of same reliable service.

It is factory set at 120 degrees and very difficult to up the setting

unit shuts off and requires it to be unplugged and plugged back in to work. My unit is in the attic and I am over 70 years old.

The maximum water output temperature claims to be 110°f in but the output is around 102° less than 25 feet away with full PEX plumbing. I paid far too much money for this bad of an experience, I expected better from a Japanese product.

Works well even with multiple demands at the same time. Also seems very energy efficient.

Currently have up to six people living in house, never run out of hot water.

Have only had for a week but seems to be a great product, side note- delivery completely smashed the first one and the second delivery had a small bend on the top section near the vent but it was minor so I used it.

Savings from heater. Water is hot and easy to use.

We had the control panel go out with in 2 months of install that wasn’t good

I was told by the builder that this tank will take a few minutes to come to temp, but when it does you will have all the hot water you want. I find that the temp drops after running for a good while. Also, the distance that the water has to run to the various faucets makes a difference too. The kitchen is the farthest and you will definitely run water waiting for the temp to come up. I guess that is better than having the water heated all day long.

Don’t let the BTU rating scare you. My gas bill went down, even though I still use my tank system in conjunction with our Rinnai and take longer showers. I’m getting more for less. Win / Win!!

It doesn’t take up as much space as the tank hot water heaters and I never run out of hot water.

Rinnai Water Heater is very good however no instruction or Home Depot provide and sell the Rinnai Heat Exhaust and pipe from manufacture. We spent many weeks try to get it to work which we keep getting error, Heater shutdown by itself and continuously getting heat and cold water while shower. Finally we searched and found the manufacture exhaust pipe from Lowe ( not even sell at Home Depot) then resolved the problem. Very bad instruction.

The Rinnai Tankless Water Heater is super easy to use. I've been using the product in a new home for the past 6 months and we never run out of hot water. With a family of four it is important to have a product that you can rely on. I like its compact design as well as ease of use.

This is my first time using a tankless water heater. I have to say that I am impressed with it's performance so far. However, the only thing that bothers me is the time that it takes for the water to get hot. It doesn't matter how far away from the unit it is. It still takes the same amount of time as a regular water heater to reach the point of use. But I do like that there's no big bulky tank in the corner somewhere in my home.

Space saving, hot water does not run out, good heating water efficiency. So far I am liking almost everything about it. The only thing I cannot attest to is it durabilly, and cost of maintenance.

This is my third on demand unit. It is by far the best so far. Unlimited hot water with no flaws to date. We've enjoyed this heater for some months and not one hiccup. I highly recommend this product.
