I’ve lived in my house for 5 years and up until a year ago I’ve never had to deal with weeds. I live in Nevada and have dirt/rocky landscape never had a weed. Last year the weeds started just popping up so I bought this to kill them. Im pretty sure the weeds just love this stuff. Because I have NEVER seen weeds grow this quickly. I recently just sprayed them and then went on vacation for two weeks and came back and bam I have basically a forest.

Roundup has effectively killed many invasive plants on our property such as bermudagrass, poison ivy, stag horn sumac and more. After spraying the leaves, it travels down to the roots to kill the entire plant and does NOT move through the soil and kill nearby desirable plants! Several treatments are needed for tough plants. I’ve attached pictures of Roundup’s effectiveness killing perennial weeds as well! TIP: ALWAYS WEAR SHOES, LONG PANTS, AND GLOVES !

I got this off the fertilizer shelf and now my grass is gone. Nice going. Should be called round down.

Doesn't kill weeds. Not much else to say. I got every weed in my yard and they are happy and healthy. The spray also comes out like a gloppy foam, making it very difficult to coat the weed.

The spray is a weak stream, so it will take a bit of time to drench the weeds. A shield is included to protect from spraying flowers you're keeping. This roundup doesn't kill those invasive vines or weed trees that are popping up all over America. It doesn't work as well on weeds like it used to when the formula was stronger. To kill the invasive species of weeds and vines, then you'll need to purchase a concentrated formula, then spray directly onto the cut part of the vines/weeds.

I thoroughly soaked the grass and weeds two days in a row and nothing even looks dead. I was afraid that too much would kill my nearby flowers but no worries there. Completely useless product and waste of money.

I recently used this product to spray some weeds in my lawn. The product claims to "Kill the weeds, not the lawn." Please see the attached picture. HOW DO YOU PROPOSE I FIX ALL OF THE DEAD GRASS YOUR PRODUCT CREATED? Please let me know as I now have parts of my lawn that look like crap.

I used roundup and sprayed weeds. Looked brown for a day but then grew back faster and greener.

The redesigned wand is great to avoid leaning and ending with a tired back. However the product claims to see results in hours and other that some white spots in the leaves of the weeds it may take days for some of the weed/grass to whittle or they may just remain alive and thriving.

I used as directions . Still dandelions All over yard.

I bought the 1.33 Gallon bottle which comes with the Sure Shot Wand, towards the end of June, 2021. I was not too impressed with the wand as it seems to produce a rather weak spray pattern, no matter which setting is selected. However, although it takes longer to cover an area than with a pump sprayer, it is offset by the benefit of using the electric pump built into the wand. Tonight, I used it for the third time and noticed before spraying that the bottle had collapsed inwards by about half an inch on both sides but didn't see anything to be concerned about. After using it for about ten minutes, I was about to place it back in its storage location when I saw a rapid drip coming from the bottom of the bottle. It turns out that, due to the bottle partially collapsing, a split had developed on the bottom corner, allowing the liquid to run out. The first thing I did was to pour the remaining liquid into an old empty apple cider jug to save wasting any more Roundup and transferred the peel-open label so that I would know the contents. Unfortunately, the cap which comes with the Roundup container does not fit on this other one, so I guess I'll need to revert to using my pump sprayer. Apart from losing some of the product, my main concern is that it has now probably dripped on other areas which I had not intented to treat. Also, had I not noticed the drip, it's quite likely that other items stored below the container could have been affected by the leaking Roundup. Be very careful using this and if you see any change in the shape of your container, make certain that it is not about to split and potentially cause real problems.

Used Ortho before but tried this because it was cheaper. It did kill a few thin surface weeds. However, the majority of the weeds got a few brown spots and kept right on growing. Thus, this week killer did effectively nothing to solve the weed issue. I put extra on the base of wild Orchids and their leaves. Although some leaves browned in spots, they are still growing like nothing happened. Attached is an image of a wild orchid i doused 3 times, 4 days ago. I used the entire gallon on a moderate area. In this case, it was a wasted purchase. Will not use Roundup again.

This newer design with the on/off dial on the spout is a joke. After one pull of the trigger, you have to wait a few seconds or so before you can squeeze it again. I can barely get a dribble out each time. Ended up pouring the roundup into a tank sprayer and threw this roundup container in the garage.

Unfortunately I was TOTALLY looking forward to trying this product!! Unfortunately it fell short!! I love the cup to keep the spray in one spot and that works great!! But the actual spray does not kill anything!! I am sooo disappointed!!!

After damaging 3 Sure Shot wands, I’ve learned to filter the stored Roundup at the start of the year. Over the winter there is an accumulation of a gel substance.

It seems that it doesn't kill as well as it used to. Maybe they have made the old standard weaker as they have come out with some Premium versions. It does still eventually kill the weeds, but normally requires a couple applications. Also, the sprayer on this version, which has the battery operated wand with the snap on cone stinks. I have had 2 of them just quit spraying. I think the way the wand tri folds it ends up kinking the line. I called the company and they did send me a new one, which I haven't tried yet, as it took a while, so I bought another one with a pump sprayer, and not a tri fold. The one that quit working, I did try to prime it, also blow air through it, and it eventually started leaking through the trigger. I took it apart and couldn't figure any other reason than the kinking that would be keeping it from spraying. Even when it did work, it was a very light spray. There are 3 settings and they are all fine, so if you have some large areas to treat pack a lunch. But I am still a customer and will continue to buy it.

I had a problem with the sprayer, so I had to pour the Roundup into another bottle in order for it to spray properly. The product worked great!

Easy use to kill small areas of grass or weeds

Seemed to work okay even though I think it should have a stronger spray. But after using about 1/2 of the bottle it stopped pumping. Knob turned to on and the pump is running.

Didn't kill the weeds after spraying them, had to pluck them a few days after spraying, dissatisfied with results

I really like that the spray nozzle has a directional cup. It makes it very easy to target the weeds and grass around the bushes and flowers in my flower bed.

This is some "deadly" stuff. Works great at killing the roots of weeds and grasses where I don't want them.

The weeds turn brown but I don't know the impact on the roots as they come back quick and better!

I would recommend a product, but not the container. With the enclosed handle I thought it was the kind you fepress the trigger and it sprays continuously but you have to repeatedly squeeze the trigger and squeeze the trigger with very little coming out until your hand is dead. I have 2 acres and this will not work.

I used this spray as directed and found that after 3 days it seemed to wilt a couple of weeds but it killed nothing. We saturated the leaves and still nothing. Also, my dogs felt the need to roll on the weeds that were sprayed well after the spray was dry. Now they want to eat the weeds that were sprayed. Needless to say I am very disappointed in many ways! what a waste of 2 1/2 hours.
