I really love this rug. As a matter of fact, I've had the same exact one in 5x7, 8x10 and 10x14 over the course of 5 years. It's the perfect color and tone for a modern farmhouse design and my kids and dog love how plush it is. It's the best shag rug I've ever found. The reason I dropped a star is solely for the 10X14. This rug was delivered folded in eighths rather than rolled, and it has taken over 2 weeks now to flatten out and still isn't quite laying perfect. It still seems to be improving the more traffic that it gets to settle it in place, but I would have hoped for a better delivery to have avoided the folds.

Thank you for your review. Creases of rugs can happen. There are few suggestions you may want to consider to reduce this: • Back rolling/ Reverse rolling the rug (leave it back rolled for 48-72 hours)- place heavy furniture on rug while back rolled/ reverse rolled to keep it from unraveling • Use indoor rug/carpet tape-tape down corners of the rug to secure and flatten the ends of your rug. • Use a rug pad to prevent slipping and sliding • Use a rug gripper for hardwood flooring • Vacuum the rug where the creases are located • Simply allow ample time for your rug or runner to settle *These creases/waves/bumps will normally flatten-out on their own so in most cases you can simply allow ample time for your rug or runner to settle. If you’ve tried all of these suggestions, and this did not remove the creases or flatten the ends, I would strongly advise you to can get in touch with the vendor you purchased from for a return. Please be aware that vendors have their own return policy’s, please reach out to your vendor and see if you are able to return/exchange/replace/ this rug. Please remember these creases are not permanent!

Perfect Area Rug
I love this area rug. Looks amazing and is as soft as is appears. We put a layer of underlay under it for even more plush. Works good with my grey and beige living room furniture. Very good quality. Delivery was quick and came wrapped well. I also ordered a hallway rug in the same pattern and it is great as well.

I bought the 10 x 14 and 8 ft runner to match. It is beautiful and exactly as described by Home Depot. It is VERY plush. I am absolutely elated with it's quality. Definitely recommend! You will need to let it lay flat for a couple days, which is to be expected because they wrapped it with very thick plastic to protect it - which I am glad they did.

Incredibly Soft! Exactly What I Was Looking For!
We originally bought a cheaper shag rug with a similar pattern and were not impressed (it was lacking in softness and a bit “crunchy” feeling). I saw this one and everyone said how soft it was, I figured it was worth a shot. Upon opening it after delivery I was very pleased with this purchase! I’m impressed by how soft and thick it is! The pattern is gorgeous and I like how the gray has some tans mixed in—it matches our decor perfectly! It just looks and feels so luxurious and expensive! A rug pad is definitely not needed with this rug because it is so plush. It feels like thick expensive carpet and is exactly what I was looking for! Our kids absolutely love it! I can’t speak for durability as we just got it but it does not shed and looks like it will stand up to years of use.

Swag Shag
I am in love with this plush area rug! The pile height makes this rug soft and great to walk on. The color is exactly what I was looking for. When it was first unrolled, it seemed lighter than the picture online, but after vacuuming it, it pulled all sides of the rug which resulted in a little change (darker). The measurements are accurate. I am very pleased with the quality of this product. This shag has swag!

This 9x12 rug was delivered to our front door with free shipping within 6 days from ordering. After unrolling it, the next day it was perfectly flat. It vacuums very good for being a shag type rug. It is a beautiful rug and I am very happy I made the decision to purchase it. Very thick and it seems to be of high quality.

This rug is very plush and just gorgeous! I bought this for my daughter, son-in-law and their two very young girls. It arrived 3 weeks ago while I was visiting and we all were so impressed! The children and adults just love running across it in bare feet and feeling it's deep comfort between their toes. I took off my shoes just to test it and its' thickness and richness really felt expensive. The greys are a tad bit darker than the picture, but it has a tweed look and does not show wear when walking across it. It's a "find". Thanks, Home Depot. My family will enjoy it for many years to come.

Stylish
The rug is just what I expected. It fits nicely in the space I placed it in (bedroom). It has a nice feel to it and enjoyable on your bare feet. I would put rubber under it so that it doesn't slide around.
It came rolled up and well protected. I've vacuumed it twice and the fibers stay connected. There's not really much more I can say about the rug except that I'm happy with it.

Not Great and smells terrible
It looks dens and plush in the video but in reality it's not its just really shagy. It smells of mildew. So it smells terrible. Was hoping for a rug that would feel like a cloud. Instead this feels like a flat thin shag. Aside from the smell I personally don't recommend if you are looking for a dens high pile that is plush. It has a high pile but is definitely not dens or plush.

So far so good. Have even had to shampoo it a couple if times because of kids and dogs and it seems to be holding up well. Pro tip: get some carpet padding to go underneath. That’s a game changer.

Nice rug
I’m using this rug on top of my wall to wall carpeting. This is the second one I bought. The first one was from a different company, and it wouldn’t lay flat. I’m using it under my dining room table. It’s thicker than the other one. When walking on it it is so cushy and soft, the experience is wonderful. Highly recommended.
