It only registers when you’re about 2 feet away, no matter how I have put the settings. Otherwise it gets the Big vehicles 30’ away. It also takes a long time to see the newest notification/ recording. You can pull down my driveway at 8’ away and nothing.

Nice looking. Quick installation. Took a bit of time to figure out the app but works well even with our slow (DSL) internet speed.

After days of attempting to hook it up, and calling SkyBell over and over, and only being placed on hold and then leaving messages, and putting in numerous online help "tickets", and going back in forth with on line chat, and SkyBell refusing to call me, and being on the phone with Spectrum, and having an electrician come...I have given up.

Easy to install if you've existing doorbell.

I really like the Skybell. It’s easy to install and works very well. The only down side is the motion sensor is too sensitive even at low. Other than that, it’s a great product and I recommend it to everybody.

The product was easy to install as a replacement for an existing hardwired button. It picks up motion about 12 feet away, but the person is ringing the doorbell or turned away by the time the notification hits my phone. Since I bought it to see who is ringing the doorbell, that works.

So far I like my SkyBell. One complaint is that sometimes the visitor can’t hear me. When I go back into settings - it has defaulted back to the “normal” sound setting instead of “loud.” Other than that, I love the peace of mind of knowing who has visited my door.

tricky to get hooked up on a android smart phone. no problem on apple had now for two months wife loves it.

I‘ve used this for over a year and my experience has been horrible. The skybell disconnected constantly, accessing the skybell when motion was detected took longer than expected and whoever was in view disappeared when it finally connected from the app. When I most needed it when I was away on vacation the thing decided to disconnect from the wifi system and become totally useless and took a hard reset to eventually get it back online. I was having all these issues while I have a pretty good wifi system with stong signals, and with the skybell less than 20 feet from the router. The company rarely upgrades its app or technology and probably knows about all the issues this device has. I recommend saving your money and going with something that has a proven track record.

Easy to install and there's no subscription for cloud storage

The Skybell I purchased was defective the only feature that worked was the door bell so I would never purchase this product again, I will try a different one next time !9

The setup should have been easy. Followed directions. Would not sync. Not sync. Not sync. Then. Eventually, I'm going seeing pictures in the app. Well .It synched somehow and now it's good to go.

I am having to repair the doorbell to the app on a weekly basis. Avoid this product.

Was easy to install. Put in two with two house chimes. The new wiring (my old door bell was battery operated) was difficult but once wires were in installing and setting up SkyBell HD was a breeze

The skybell package is well thought out and provides everything you need for a proper installation. (- the drill of course) Making installation a snap.

This is my first review ever. Skybell failed product and worst customer service ever forced me to write this review and warn other buyers to not waste their money on this and buy other reputable product which are more reliable and stand behind their product. I bought this on June 2017, installation and setup was easy and we started loving it and showing it to our friends and family. This had advantage over other manufactures because it offered 7 day free video storage so there was no monthly subscription charge like Nest or Ring. I was loving it until after using it for few months it started giving false motion detection all the time. It would also stop working so I would have to reset it every few weeks. The reset involved unscrew and re-screw it and setup the skybell again in the app and then share it with my family. I called their customer service and couldn't got hold of anyone. You can wait up to 15 minutes for someone to answer the call after which you will be redirected to voicemail. I left over 5 voicemail before I got a call back. The call back is random so there is a very good probability that you won't be home when they call you back. I had to ask them to call back several times before they called me when I was home. They customer service personal are not well trained and they just read from the script. They will ask you to reset the skybell even if you have done it several times so they offer no help and are not technical at all. After almost month of going back and forth they asked to me check the back of the skybell which was bulged so they offered me the exchange which I agreed. The exchange skybell worked fine for a week and then completely died so I had to go through the whole customer service cycle again and they sent me another exchange skybell. This one worked fine for several months until May 2018 when it started going offline once a month. The solution was to reset it ans set it up again. I sent them the email and left a voicemail and was told the same thing that resetting it should solve it. It got worse and worse and now it would go offline every few days. I can't be resetting it every few days. It would go offline without any notification so I wouldn't know until someone knocks on the door because the Skybell is not working. I called them and left several voicemail and then got a call back and explained them the whole situation and they agreed that its a issue with the bell and it should be exchanged. They asked me to email them and they would issue a exchange. When I emailed them they reply after a month and said I am out of the warranty. I explained that I reported the issue in May 2018 when it was still under warranty but they just replied with the scripted text. Don't waste your money and time buying Skybell because you would have to replace it after a year when the warranty ends. I recommended it to several friends and family members and they all had trouble keeping it online. They all complained that it would go offline randomly and is unreliable.

The actual viewing was horrible

Took awhile to get it hooked up correctly. Tech support by email was only contact. Calling in for support always went to voicemail. Emailing was good option. As far as the product, works great. Lives up to my expectations.

This device was very difficult to configure. Was on a support call with Skybell for 2 hours on a Saturday because the one device I purchased turned out to be defective.

Works great compared with the others brands and for less money

The install was very easy. The doorbell function is fine. The motion detection and camera activation when the doorbell is used is perfect! The picture quality is great, especially at night! We always know when someone is at our door, even while we’re away. My wife loves it!

Physical installation was easy as it replaced a manual doorbell.Software installation leaves a lot to be desired mostly because of what you need to know that it doesn’t tell you. In service it only works some of the time and is very slow all the time. The person at the door is usually gone beforeyo
