Did not work after just one month installed.

Good device, relatively simple to set up worth the price. However, very sensitive to WiFi signal strength and it occasionally misses activity (someone coming to the door).

This device is poorly designed and does not hold up to the stress of delivery people pushing the button in a hurry. The switch broke once and the company replaced it but the new one only lasted for 4 months. At that time they claimed it was now out of warranty. I guess they only think the new replacement device should only last 4 months. Don't waist your money. They say that this device allows you to talk to people at your door as if you were home even when you are gone. The problem is that the device is so slow to report a press or motion detection and then allow you to connect, that the person at the door is long gone. The only useful thing is to see who was previously at your door which might be useful if they stole something or you want to contact them.

Customer service hard to contact. Instructions were not clear and not readily available. Returned to store.

Wifi connectivity is poor. Device kept on disconnecting from Wifi. I prefer the Ring.. It works better!

Very nice

The SkyBell works great and the videos are very clear. I love that there are no video storage fees. I can review the videos on my phone and save or email them. The only problems I had were 1) the instructions were very vague and 2) the masonry drill bit supplied with the kit was useless. I was able to download the instructions I need from the SkyBell website. I plan to buy another for my back patio, but am waiting until they come out with a unit that does not have a doorbell switch, i.e., just the motion sensor and HD camera. I understand it should be out soon.

Are new home did not come with a peep hole in the front door so you could not see who was at the door with out opening it. This unit works Great we have it on our Phones and Tablets, you can who was there and when with the time stamp. Very easy to install.

Really like it but the motion sensor is way to sensitive. I'm awaiting a new sw update to correct. It was super easy to install.

Lots of problems with this little gadget. Video quality does not look like it is 1080p. You can't select zones for the motion detection, so be prepared for a notification every time the winds moves a tree in the distance. It takes way to long to connect and view the video, even when you are on the same network as the device. Finally, customer support is atrocious. They will never admit that their device is faulty, it is ALWAYS a problem on your end, even when the device has been working fine for months.

I chose the Skybell over the other brand because there’s no subscription fees. You can download and save all your videos. The picture is very clear, even at night. The Skybell actually lights up when activated, so even with your porch light off, there’s enough light to see clearly who’s at the door.

So far i'm loving it. It works fine, i didn't have a door bell so i had to install one first. The app works well with my galaxy 8+. When my wifi signal is low it gives me problems, other than that it's great.

Easy attachment easy install. Great picture quality. Overall awesome choice for home safety.

I used my electric drill and wss able to install within 30 minutes including wifi and Android setup. So far so good with excellent sound and video. Will update in a few months of performance.

it was so cool, we were on vacation in san diago. I receive a text from FedEx about a package coming that needs to be signed for. before I know it my skybell notifies my phone that someone rang the bell. i open the skybell app and mr FedEx is standing there. I press talk and say can you reschedule the delivery for Monday, he says no problem, waves to the skybell and that problem goes away, monday the delivery comes. No trying to call FedEx and playing choose the button. Thanks skybell, while I was not thinking of this type of thing, it sure was cool to be able to do this. Joe

This Skybell HD was easy to install. It was a perfect replacement to my doorbell! I had a problem initially with the motion sensor not working past a couple feet but Tech support for skybell updated my firmware and its all fixed now. Only reason I gave this review 4 stars is that the app has had some instance where it doesn't load right away when I want to access live watch video otherwise it is functioning perfectly right now.

Instalation was pretty simple. The inside doorbell worked, a text was sent to my phonie and my wife's phone and our phones would ring if the was motion or a Button push. That lasted for a month or so and then my phone would not ring on motion or I did not get a text message. Today the button was pushed and I got no phone ring, no text message Tech support has not solved the problem..

SKYBELL does not follow through. Does not return phone calls. You have to pressure them to respond. I am dissatisfied with the lack of support.

Don't buy this doorbell. It doesn't work well and customer support is not really responsive. I got a lot of false notifications and about 70% of the time it wouldn't even work when someone pressed the door bell. Many times packages were left at the front door and it never recorded a thing. Spend your money on something else and save yourself a lot of hassle.

This review is regarding the installation, not that actual usage of the product. Unfortunately the mounting plate which comes with this product is also circular, similar in size to the doorbell. If you have a hole in your wall bigger then this (like I do), then this product will not cover the hole. I notified the manufacturer (where I bought it) and they refuse to return the product without charging the $30 restocking fee. Obviously this is ridiculous since I couldn't tell what size mounting plate was included without opening to box. I have other circular products (like the Nest thermostat) and they include a mounting plate to cover larger holes in the wall. The customer service of this company is horrible and I would never buy from them. You have been warned.

Easy to install.....easy to setup....looks cute but can scare strangers when it starts flashing...we have 4 surveillance cameras inside our apt but my wife said she feels very safe after we installed the skybell doorbell...
