The dryer works as I would expect as long as I deselect the "eco" feature. I am all about optimizing energy efficiency of an appliance, but a load won't even be completely dry after 1:15 cycle on eco dry, whereas it will be fully dry after a standard 42 minute cycle. With a typical wash load taking about 45 minutes, the set does function together nicely. I am looking forward to trying the steam feature. One very concerning feature is that the dryer does snag clothing where the lint trap is located. I hope this doesn't start to damage clothes. So far it's just been catching like frayed ends of towels and that sort of thing, see the photo, but this shouldn't occur at all.

Easy to install. Amazing product. Love the feature being able to communicate with your phone to tell you time left on the cycle and when the load is complete. Dryer works and communicates with Washer to preset dry cycle accordingly is option is turned on. All you have to do is transfer the wash to the dryer. Also the stacking kit generates more room for other items.

Lint trap catches zippers
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] we've had this dryer for about 6 months. the lint trap catches zipper pulls. so far it has destroyed 3 jackets. it has also damaged some delicates as well. i don't recommend this dryer.

Dries very well. Washer refuses to connect to the app. Not the worst thing ever, but I would expect it to work. I have tried multiple things and watched videos and nothing is working. I still love the washer and dryer set.

Dryer is easy to use. I especially like the steam sanitize feature.
It is compatible with the Smartthings ecosystem. My gas dryer can only be monitored from the phone, but the electric models can be controlled.
One caveat when purchasing. This unit is stack-able with the same model type washer, but you need a stacking kit. I found this out the hard way, and had to wait an additional week after delivery to get the stacking kit.
I would recommend this dryer to anyone

Be ready to run for hours
I have to run a medium size load for 2 times on heavy duty and high temperature to get it dry. Save yourself aggravation and do no buy Samsung.

Please ensure the dryer is not in ECO DRY mode, as this setting will reduce the power consumption of certain other cycles but will extend the length of the cycle, potentially up to 3 times as long. Eco Dry is on by default on Normal and Time Dry cycles for models with the feature. Please see these links for details.
