Keypad does not work. Tried everything and it will not unlock with the keypad. Had to be able to secure door. Purchased another keypad door lock at Ace. Returning this to Home Depot

We bought this keypad door latch to replace a similar one that wore out after 20 or so years. We love the convenience of the item - no key required and especially the lever handle.

Was fine until it stopped locking (3yr old)
For the price, it seems it's not a quality items. Surprisingly (or not) the electronics failed not long after the 3yr electronics warranty was up, no long actuating the locking mechanism with the key, the code, or the lever on the inside.
