Don’t buy Schlage
I purchased 2 of these locks in store about 3 years ago. They certainly are not cheap. They BOTH have stopped working and just spin freely. Pretty disappointing that Home Depot continues to carry this product with this many people having the same difficulty

Bought for new door that’s already paided for to be installed can’t rate lock yet till Home Depot installs door but nobody has called me yet

Very pleased with the lock. Appears to be sturdy and well designed. I like the fact that the electronic part of the lock will unlock the door, but you still need to manually turn the lock open. This reduces complexity on the lock requiring no electric “motor” which tends to fail. Also energy efficient. Nice finish too.

This is good lock. Love the fact it is not battery hogger. very easy to setup. All the codes are customizable once you feel comfortable (look up their website for more codes, actually). Our family loves this keyless entry from garage to the kitchen. We have had this for 15 days now - not sure why we didn't buy this way earlier!

We already had a similar lock on our front door that was installed in March 2023 and wanted to get one for the back door of our house. It locks securely and it’s easy to update the access code.
