We had someone install it but it seemed quite easy, and it was very easy to program. So far, so good

Excellent lock. Had a pro install. Great upgrade from our former standard keyed one. Highly recommend. Ps, our locksmith said he had the same model for his home — can’t beat that kind of endorsement.

Product installed easily and is functioning as it should. Looks good as well.

Good lock for the first 4 years. At year 5 it wouldn't allow us to lock the door from the outside. Push the button to be able to lock the door, mechanism would make a functioning noise in the lock and the dead bolt or latch wouldn't go into the door jamb. Requires multiple attempts before it would work. Tried new battery, cleaning, oiling, nothing would fix it. This problem is increasing with time

HD rekeyed the lock to match existing Schlage lock. Result was the lock would NOT lock!

I like this programmable lock because of its simplicity ... and this particular model has a deadbolt. There is NO Wi-Fi or motorized deadbolt to deal with. Sometimes the deadbolt will not retract all the way and it causes issues. By being manual, people can feel whether or not the deadbolt is retracted. I am using it with short term rental at the beach and the weather kills something mechanical inside ... something corrodes and the lock will not function. It that could be fixed, then the locks would get a great score of 5 stars. Most people will not use the lock in such a harsh environment.

Now at first you will be happy with this lock, however do yourself a favor and have a look at some of the videos on youtube showing you how to fix this lock when it fails on you, because it will! Reason: It has a spring inside that triggers the locking mechanism and over time this spring will weaken and wont pull the pin to engage the locking mechanism, effectively locking you out of your own house. The provided key will not work either in this situation as it is still dependent on that spring. Weak design, avoid! I will be installing the old fashioned lock and key.

Looks Sharp. I think it door & space looks updated. Code is nice and love the handle.

Missing parts when I received the order. It appeared the box had been opened and resealed. Will order again and hopefully will have better luck.

This lock set looks good, seems to be well built, easy enough to install and program. Home Depot was able to match my key after a bit of fumbling. However, I have one small critical comment and one large. The small: it’s takes a bit of fiddling to use the deadbolt with the key The large: The exterior deadbolt knob protrudes so far that I can’t close the storm door due to handle interference. The entry door has pre drilled holes (Feather River) and the storm door had a pre drilled handle and the handle included (Anderson) I’m not sure if there is a proper solution to this. I’m taking the storm door off and looking at ways to move the handle and fill the holes left behind (a mighty task on an aluminum door)

Great looking set and easy to install. Perfect fit and coding was a breeze.

I have had this lock for 2 years and have had to tear it apart way too many times to fix it. Put in the code and the actuator won’t pull the spring up. Clean it stretch the spring and it may work for a day a week or who knows. Best to make sure you always carry a key. Junk!

It works great. No problems. Maybe I won’t lock myself out again. But if I do I know I can rely on it. Beware though. It sticks out quite a bit and couldn’t be used on my front door because it was hitting my storm door. Used it on the back door instead. Beautiful product.

This is the fourth digital deadbolt i have purchased and will stick with them. Easy to install, program and take with you. Highly recommended.

I bought this lock system for a new door installation. I liked that it had the option for one handed keyless entry to my home and came with a matching lever handle. It was easy to set my own code and a decent value. I love the option to leave my home without a key and not worry about getting locked out.
