The Simpson wafer head screws do a fabulous job keeping...
The Simpson wafer head screws do a fabulous job keeping Simpson wood braces in place and they have better holding capacity than nails and don't split the wood like nails do.

Strong screws that drilled right into the wood and did...
Strong screws that drilled right into the wood and did not strip. In those aspects, they are superior to the multi-pack screws from Harbor Freight, which strip so badly before you get them halfway into wood that you almost can't get them out again to replace with another identical screw that you pray won't strip this time.

Expensive, but really do a nice job on all of the metal ties. They also work great for general purpose use where you can avoid using a washer under a sheet metal screw or regular pan head wood screw.
