Like the look so That is what I bought for my deck replacement. $7 for this little board which is just a sample is ridiculous though. You should have samples at Home Depot for people to look at. I had to spend $7 to spend another $3500. The stuff is already expensive enough, plus you don't give a military discount because you have to order it online and even the store has to order it online. Why can't you have people register for the military discount so when they order something online we can get our discount? Either way, I like the color and I won't have to worry about replacing it for a very long time.

It’s beautiful

Got this to match up to my Cordovan Brown stained decking. We will be replacing the deck boards but not the risers and fascia. So, it needed to match. This is a beautiful rich brown with just a little grain coming through and a hint of gray undertone. It is lovely!!!

Bought Sunset cove trex for a 12 x 24 deck. The lengths I purchased were 12 foot and 16 foot. So did rows alternating two 12s then a 16 and an 8. then two 12s etc. Product quality of material is good, However, the 16 foot pieces definitely had more of the dark shade mixed in than the 12 foot pieces. The base color matched, but would of liked the mixture to be the same on the shading. Since I alternated every other row, not to noticeable but if I had all the 16s and then all the 12s in two sections, it would be obvious. Additionally the boards are all a bit long and the ends are not square, so plan on cutting both ends. The hidden fastener system is slow but gets easier when you get the hang of getting the fasteners the right height and angle for the next row to slide in. Does look really good when done. Rubber mallet helps, warm day helps, patience helps. Kids, dogs, interruptions don't help.

its been a little over 5 years im going back to treated lumber. I had thought the initial COSTLY investment would last 20 years as advertised. I have a small deck around my hot tub. boards definitely warp even with their fastening system. I see how good they honor their warranty by the reviews beautiful product but didn't hold up to the weather

Had about 400 square foot deck built in August 2018. Noticed in spring of 2019 warping in each plank where butt ends meet - last 16" dips down on both pieces. Tried to correct it in summer of 2019 by screwing butt ends into deck joists after several hot days to allow planks to expand, and plugging screw heads to hide screws. It is now spring 2020 and warping where butt ends meet has only gotten worse. Had contractor who built deck contact Home Depot and Trex about this issue - NO HELP! Built deck with Azek at lake house - much better product, no warping whatsoever. Will never buy Trex again.

Good sample but not a close enough to Burgundy house trim to avoid painting.

Great product. Easy to install and saddle color has a very rich look to it.

Just had 2 decks and 3 flights of stairs built with this product, and I'm so sorry. The surface is very slick, even when it's dry. And when it's wet, it's treacherous. I called the company, and they have issued a bulletin about the slipping problem, but they offer no remediation. And they wouldn't let me speak to a manager. So now I have to buy rugs and stair grip strips to make my expensive installation usable. Not happy! What a lousy company to deal with!
