Easy to install. Sturdy

Expensive but good product!

Everything was as advertised. Still awaiting a good sound test but we are optimistic about its acoustic ratings meeting our needs. Installation was as expected - be careful, have clean hands and tools - the exterior surface is a bit fragile.

Love the product very easy to make cuts and it doesn’t destroyed the front face!!! I seriously loved it!!! The only thing is a little expensive but it’s definitely worth it !!!

These are thick ceiling tiles, so they'll be great as a sound barrier, but they're somewhat fragile. You need to be careful of breaking the edges and the finish on the tile can scrape off easily. You'll need to be very careful when installing these.

Looks great. Several of the tiles had to be exchanged as they were damaged. The contractor says they were more challenging to install than the traditional ones. They do help keep the sound down.

This ceilings tiles are beautiful, looks great in my office. Only that some of then came in not so good condition, but I was able to manage.

The tiles look great once installed and are effective in reducing noises. However, you must be very care in handling the tile for cutting to different sizes. The tiles are very soft, and the tiles can be damaged if handles to roughly on installation. I recommend cutting to size with a table saw to ensure edges are square.

I am finishing my basement and decided to put in a drop ceiling instead of drywall. It's a big house with gas, water, and other lines that traverse the basement ceiling. A drop ceiling provides easy access to piping for maintenance or emergency. I installed these tiles not just for noise reduction, but for mold/mildew protection as well. When upstairs, we now hear NO noise from the basement! Also, installed Can LED lights and get lots of compliments from family/visitors.

I've used other tiles from USG and they did not seem to have the same issue as Luna, or maybe it was just handled differently. The tiles easily dent and chip. I'm going to have to use ceiling paint to make corrections on the tile. The soundproofing is great and they look fabulous, other than the issues stated above.

I have no experience installing drop ceiling before, but I'm a handy man of over 30 years. I'm not sure how good this product from sound NRC to humidity handling, but what I know for sure, the product is very easy to mess up. I have to carry each panel with my two hands underneath. If I try to carry it with one hand, the pressure of my fingers would deform the tile face. Someone suggested, if I paint it, it may add some rigidity to it. The reason I'm putting this drop ceiling instead of drywall, is to be able to take these tiles out and change wire connectivity above them. Having such flimsy material, I have a feeling I would need to change each tile if I bring it down couple times. Not to mention, I picked the most expensive and thickest I found at the Home Depot. I would consider this product very pricey.

I am finishing up a 2000 sq. ft. basement, and I have used these in every room except the bathroom. With a little bit of care to avoid chipping, these have been extremely easy to work with. They cut very cleanly and easily with a sharp box cutter and straight edge, and a rotary saw makes circular cuts for recessed lighting very well. My favorite aspects are that these have a beveled edge so that they hang below the metal grid, and while they have a textured surface, they don't really have "black spots" that many less expensive panels have. Both of these features make the ceiling look very sharp for a drop ceiling.

I am finishing my basement and bought these tiles because I liked the look and texture. They were easy to install and look great. I install fourteen cases with no problems, they are easy to cut and work with in tough places. I would use these tiles again if I found the need to finish other areas. Bob
