Are these tiles tapered? i need them non-tapered.
Yes, you are able to get the 2X2 Radar Basic in a non-tapered square edge panel. If your local store does not have it on hand, they can request it.
Are they waterproof
Ceiling- No the Radar Basic Ceiling Panels are not waterproof.
What type of adhesive should we use?
Rich- These are lay in panels, we do not recommend adhesive to install these panels.
Can you glue them to the ceiling?
Todd- The Radar 2x4 panels are lay in. We do not recommend glueing them to the ceiling.
Are they waterproof
Lili- No the Radar Basic Panels are not waterproof.
When cut, does it flake apart?
Thank you for your inquiry. To cut the tiles, lay panel face-side up on flat cutting surface, mark measurement and cut with utility knife and straight edge. To trim for shadowline edge: Install panel with cut edge against wall and factory edge tight against opposite tee. Draw line on panel face along wall angle. Remove and cut panel on line to match depth of shadowline recess, then cut in from panel edge to complete shadowline detail. It is normal for there to be some dust or particles during this process.
How can you market this as acoustic ceilings - then leave out any specs on acoustic properties
