This was perfect for my vertical board and batten pieces

Pretty good wood but it is warped and has small cracks. However it was fine for my project. I used it for sun visors in my 1957 Chevy pickup.

I love the oak boards. Very versatile. I used it to give my old cabinets a modern look.

I like these oak planks for small projects because of the 1/4" thickness. No thickness planer required. Check for cupping and pay attention to the grain.

A little pricey for such a small piece of wood but worked for my needs.

I have used these small boards as trim on a few pieces of furniture and batten and board paneling in my living room. They are easy and I don’t have a planer to make my own, but boy, you really have to dig through the pile to find a few decent ones. Like all lumber at Home Depot most of it is damaged in some way and it’s a whole ordeal and a challenge to find a decent piece to use.

Great product, perfect material

The piece warped and basically useless to me. Not a good product.

I used the boards to cut into small lengths then stenciled words. Finally creating a design of a Christmas tree. It all turned out beautifully.

Not sure the wood is oak

These 1/4" oak boards are perfect for some small projects and home repair. It is difficult to find oak boards so I am glad to see that the Home Depot still carries a selection of this species of wood,

Perfect! Although I was told by an employee that there wasn't anything like what I was looking for! Good thing I decided to browse and found it by myself!

It did the job for what I brought it for .

Many of the oak boards found on the shelf were warped or cracked, but we found a few which were neither. Good price for the quality, only wish there were more boards in better shape to choose from.

Perfect for my project

Quite an excellent buy for anyone wanting to complete a project that calls for a 1/4 inch piece of oak not exceeding 6 inches in width and 4 feet in length. I don't have any means of testing the DNA of the wood, but I'll take their word for it that it's actually oak. The fine people of Weaber haven't given me a reason not to trust them yet!

I ordered two pieces of white oak. You sent me one piece of white oak and one piece of red oak. When I returned them for a refund, I only received the price of the two pieces of wood. I paid the shipping charges for something I didn’t order and didn’t want.

It cracked after one day of use. Too bad Home Depot never dries their wood. Moisture content must have been way too high.

Good grain. Matches with other oak pieces.
