Looking edge on, my board is smiling at me. Not a grin, not a smirk, a smile. So yeah, don't go buy this, you will be happier lighting the money on fire.

It was delicious, a little tougher to chew than I expected, was very oaky with grape undertones.

Board was too cupped to be useful

This 1/4 inch oak wood is easy to cut. Very nice clean cut.

stained it and used it as a threshold for pantry door.

Exactly what I needed

It was clean and straight

Nice product for the trim work needed. However, too many pieces had bad milking marks, cuts, etc. Required detailed examination of each piece, many not usable.

I named my piece of wood George. As a piece of wood goes, George was a straight shooter, kinda quiet, but I appreciate that in my lumber usually. He didn’t go against the grain and was overall a fairly solid character. But, in the end, I still cut him in half and ignored his screams of agony.

best wood I've had in a while

I bought this product to create my own custom thresholds as what was available in stock didn’t work for my needs. The oak, although thin, is very sting for the purpose I needed it for. Easy to work with being 1/4 in think.

Not all pieces are square. Some taper on one side.

Used this to reface an Oak door and it was a perfect match.

I picked the 4 best planks that were in stock. The 10 planks I left behind were not acceptable for my use.
