the item is small, I was expecting something larger, however, it did the job as well as could be expected. The clamps will not hold a large thick item but will work with anything up to .125 inches.

Base is not heavy enough to support properly but the tool is useful when soldering.

Is probably good for small circuit boards, I was fixing a medium circuit board and it could not handle the weight so I had to return and order a larger magnifying glass with clips.

Worked out well and the magnification was handy for my aging eyes

As a novice solderer..I need all the help I can get. This was a great help.

Great product, however, I wish the small wing nuts were either larger or a more comfortable type to grip to tighten or loosen

I really like this item! It helps a lot when I’ve gotta see things up close. My only drawback is the base could be wider, so that when the glass is extended to its furthest point, it wouldn’t fall over.

Handy little stand I wish I had bought years ago. Had to solder a broken cabinet pull and it was perfect for that. I did have to disassemble and reassemble to get the clamps close enough for the job, and the clamps are pretty small. That’s the reason for 4 stars; thinking of other jobs in the past where I could have used something like this the jaws would have not quite made it. But overall it is built fairly well and will hold things securely as you work. Definitely a must have for anyone who solders stuff.

The stand keeps tipping over. Would do better with a heavier base or suction cup base

I'm building a Lighsaber, which requires soldering, so these helping hands were a must have. I've bought other brands in the past and they were always loose and fell apart rather quickly, these are much better quality.

Handy Helper. Used to hold key fob circuit while I soldered. Magnifying glass really helped me see small parts.

Meh same as harbor freight for twice the price. Needed it in a pinch they had it

That is and will be the last thing I ever buy from Home Depot.
