The delivery service was outstanding and the fridge is as advertised

Delivered on 02/14/24. Temperatures in normal ranges, but the unit is exceptionally noisy when the condenser and fan are running. I would expect a much quieter refrigerator from Whirlpool and I am concerned if this unit will last the expected 10 to 12 years. Paradise Appliance Service inspected the unit on 3/5/24 and it purred like a kitten, later that day and to date it is loud and noisy again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This refrigerator was delivered to me with great pain for the delivery people. Something must have happened to it during the unpackaging process. When I began to untape and clean the inside in preparation to transfer food from my old frig to this one I heard a loud noise coming from it after closing the freezer door. Each time I closed the freezer door we could hear this noise like a toilet being flushed. I was afraid of this appliance from that point on. I was also disappointed that I could not relocate the shelves and that it did not have three drawers. I had ordered it online and could not see enough information about it to make a good decision for purchase. The price was right. We chose this style because we did not want the ice maker nor the water dispenser. But it was not accommodating enough on the inside for our needs. Though the noise stopped after a few days, we sent it packing.

Beautiful refrigerator, but we had issues from the start. Within 3 months I had to throw all food away TWICE because fridge side either froze my food or it got too warm. Tech out 3 times & replaced most of parts. Still temps would swing from one extreme to the other. After 3+ weeks without a working fridge, whirlpool said they would replace. Never getting another whirlpool. EVER

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Two things, one the motor is loud and louder than we expected. Two the owner manual doesn't contain any information about temperature settings other than digital snowflakes. What temp goes with each setting?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Been having the fridge for 2 weeks. I replaced 18 years old GE. Love how much space I have. Not as noisy as others mentioned. No ice maker is a plus. Wish the door aligned but it’s not. Overall, I’m happy with the new fridge.

Wanted a simple uncomplicated fridge and this one meets the requirement. On fridge side drawer placement only available for two lowest slots.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm happy with the refrigerator except for one thing: It doesn't get cold enough. I like to keep the freezer portion at or below 0 degrees F. and the refrigerator around 33 - 35 degrees. This unit keeps the freezer between +5 and +10 degrees, and the refrigerator around 37 - 40 degrees, and that's with all the controls set to the coldest setting, and ambient temperature in the kitchen around 68 to 70 degrees. I suppose the reason it's so weak is so Whirlpool can say that it's Energy-efficient, but I'd be glad to use a bit more electricity and have the colder temperatures. My old KitchenAid would easily keep the temperatures I like, without the controls set to their coldest setting. I'll have to live with this but wouldn't buy another one.

Plenty of space inside, vastly superior to our predecessor which had freezer on top and fridge below. Really easy to see everywhere inside. Slightly annoying feature is that the doors "fall" open once you open them past a certain point, and there doesn't seem to be a tension adjustment for that. Marginally noisier than our prior fridge when running, but not too bad.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this refrigerator January 13 and noticed that the rubber sealed of the door was not completely coming in contact with the refrigerator. The technician noticed the rubber sealed was frozen. He used the heat gun and it is OK now. It was frozen because the doors were removed and left outside for awhile so the refrigerator can enter the door. The stainless finished is not nice compared to the refrigerator wrs312 with water dispenser that I bought last July 13 ,2023 . The stainless finished in wrs315 gets easily scratch and it's looks inexpensive appliance.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been looking for this kind of refrigerator, I don’t like ice or water dispensers,that’s why I bought this refrigerator, so far I like it. This was the third attempt to deliver, the first one the freezer door was defected, the second one there was a big dent where the motor was and the delivery guy said not to take it ,the might have problems eventually, finally the third one was perfect. I think the stainless steel used is of low grade, I won’t mind pay more for better quality.overall it’s ok it’s functional well, no problem so far.

The technician noticed that the rubber sealed was frozen. I told him that the delivery delivery guys removed the door so that the refrigerator can get in to the house. So far it looks OK now . Regarding the stainless finish of the door does not look nice, get easily scratches .

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My old Samsung was making noise so I researched best rated refrigerators and talked to my appliance repair man. Both named Whirlpool. It was delivered in a timely manner and is excellent. Previous refrigerator was french door with bottom freezer. I am a senior and found it difficult to find my frozen food. With this side by side, I have assigned labeled shelves so finding what I am looking for is easy. I will say that the Whirlpool is a little noisier than my previous refrigerator. That being said, my food in both sides is much colder than what I had before.

There is a ton of space and the light is really bright so I can see everything we have well. Love the clear bins and shelves. We paid the place we bought it from to add an ice maker.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I got the refrigerator I noticed the refrigerator moved with opening a closing of the doors. I looked at the manual and it said to adjust the leveling feet that of which I had none. So we had to place rubber disks under the wheels to keep it from moving. I called the parts department at whirlpool and they said it doesn't come with leveling feet, then why does it state that in the manual. I can see where they would have gone as there are threaded holes for leveling feet.

I am very satisfied with the refrigerator which I have had for many months.. The internal shelving and bins give efficient storage and the door handles are handsome curves and comfortable to use.The simple design is perfect in an open kitchen.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I opted to purchase a refrigerator with no bells and whistles after so many issues with previous refrigerators. This model suits my needs. It is a bit on the louder side while running. Disappointed that the shrink wrap used in shipping does leave marks on the stainless steel. Currently, the recommended cleaner is unavailable.

Still missing a shelf that no one seems to know about! Love the frig tho. So irritating to pay good money and then have it be incomplete and home depot do nothing to fix it.
