New smaller Whirlpool !
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had a side by side Whirlpool fridge at least 10 years, with water & ice dispenser but as empty nesters now, we no longer fill it! I was tired of the size & intruding upon the kitchen / dining entry. I picked out and purchased THIS exact Whirlpool fridge - just smaller. I LOVE counter depth in my kitchen. It’s 5” more space - doesn’t sound huge, but it is!!! Now, for the fridge, it was explained to me that new energy efficient compressors are smaller but may seem noisier. I hear it but it’s just a muted white noise … not really noisier, but in fact you do hear it more regularly. The water dispenser is noisier, but it has more of a nozzle so you can fill bottles easily and it’s more precise!!! There is way less spillage than previous model. Ice maker works well. Overall fridge & freezer capacity is smaller, but that’s what we wanted!!!! It’s only been a week, we moved our old-reliable fridge to our son’s house. We’re both happy!!!

Great Buy!

Good space and cooled pretty quickly. An impressive upgrade from my previous. The LED screen display gives it an extra fancy touch.

DO NOT BUY THIS FRIDGE
1. No butter compartment
2. Minimal shelves... You will need to buy more and they cost 50$ each. Seriously short on shelves in both fridge and freezer.
3. ALL THE FOOD FREEZES THAT IS LOCATED BY THE WALL SEPARATING THE FREEZER AND FRIDGE. THE FRIDGE TEMP IS SET AT 40 DEGREES. ALL FOOD MUST BE AT LEAST 4 INCHES FROM THE WALL OR IT WILL FREEZE. Food is ruined.
THIS IS A PIECE OF CRAP... CHEAPENED IT DOWN SO MUCH IT IS JUST STUPID. Garbage. I regret this purchase so much. And I am stuck with it.

Replaced 20+ years old fridge.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wanted to stay with the white so happy to find a model.
Counter depth fits better than the old unit.
Had to stick a bumper on the fridge side door to prevent hitting the wall.
Would be good if the hinge could be set to stop door at 90 degrees.
New unit seems to run more than the old.
Otherwise seems to work well.
Like the rapid ice feature to replenish when ice is empty.

air damper control loud clicking noise
bought this whirlpool side by side stainless steel model #WRS571CIHZ04 on 09 AUG 2022..less than a year later..air damper control assembly W11164593 started making loud chatter/clicking noise whenever it turned on which is frequent.. called and scheduled service..told them part that was defective..repairman came...looked at it...said we dont have that part in stock..will have to order it..and left..seems to be common problem..bad news is probably a design flaw..new part will do same thing soon

I'm in Love with this Frig!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this for a week, and it works like a dream. A huge upgrade from my 20+ year old Kitchenaide, which had a water dispenser awkwardly placed INSIDE the refrigerator. Although this new one has slightly less cubic capacity, it actually seems to fit more because of the layout. I tweaked the factory setting temperatures slightly last week (I like it to be a degree cooler) and it works perfectly. Quiet, too.

LOUD!
This thing is SO LOUD!! So disappointed. This replaced our old Whirlpool fridge of same kind. Old one was quiet, had better shelf design, and lasted 25 Yrs. Plus, only 4 freezer shelves even though there are slots to accommodate 6. Guess they want even more $$ from me. Whirlpool, you can do better than this. 👎👎

It's Just Right
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this fridge because our other fridge stopped freezing food solid. Ice cream was always mushy and other foods were squishy, repairman couldn't fix, so we had to replace it. This fridge keeps cold food cold and frozen food frozen solid, not mushy. Our kitchen however has only one spot that a fridge can fit in unless we remodeled, which I didn't want to do. This fridge fits! It's not too large, nor is it too small. It's the right size that lets us use the doorway, fits under the high cabinets and still allows the dishwasher door to open and the dishwasher to be loaded/unloaded. As Goldilocks would say: it's just right.
