Having no water connections I needed this type of Fridge. Delivery guys came in and installed it with 20 minutes. Great work guys. Had enough time to get to work. This is a very good refrigerator. So much space. Deep shelves too. Wife loves it.

Love this refrigerator! I like the sleek lines of the door handles. Creates a nice updated look in my kitchen. Some people have noted a louder-than-usual sound from their fridge--I wouldn't say the motor running on this fridge is that loud. Maybe if you had to sleep in the same room with it, the sound might be bothersome, but overall I didn't notice any louder-than-usual motor sound. Love the storage space the fridge offers. The lighting inside is bright. We did not want a fridge with an ice-maker and this was one of the few out there that don't have one. Ice makers and the water line to the ice maker should be cleaned at least once a year (more so if you have hard water). How many people do that? So, every time you're making ice, you're making dirty ice. Yuck! I'll just make ice the old fashioned way. At least I know the containers are clean and the water I'm using is purified. Besides, usually one of the first things to break on a fridge is the ice maker. One small issue (and this is a quality control issue for Whirlpool) - the Whirlpool logo on the front of the fridge is crooked!

Overall, it has more room and has better temp control than our previous one with the water and ice dispenser. A really nice feature is the location and ease of use of the temperature control. It is easy to set with no guessing. Much better than the dial version of that seemed to ice up at times. Overall, really nice unit, the simpler the better. Much less to break or malfunction, especially with kids.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So I wanted a side by side but with out the water and ice maker. This is perfect. Mind you I was going from a freezer top 18.5 cu ft to this lovely side by side 25.1 cu ft. I wanted the max space and seeing that the ice and water maker takes up about 1/5 to 1/4 of the freezer I said no way. So I got this lovely model. I read reviews and did research. Some people said it was loud and noisy. But all it does is hum a little. It is quieter than ones I have been around. A lot quieter than a dishwasher and a dryer. Like the nice little hum from a AC unit through a wall and that’s only when it’s cooling down again. But back to the storage. Oh my OH MY I have so much room I love it. I’m in heaven. A family of four and a toddler that’s non stop. She loves it she is able to grab things from both the frig and freezer. Frozen go-gurt and yogurt cheese, her juice and so much more she feels she is on top of the world. Keep all this in mind when buying.

Sabotaged refrigerator making horrendous noise after half of hour of running. I removed back dust panel found one of the screws in contact with compressor discharge tube which runs inside frame channel. Also found capillary tube in contact with sharp edge of same channel. Fixed both much quieter but not as quiet a as 25 year old kenmore it is replacing. Probably a thinner compressor housing to make more profit. Like this design with no space wasting door contraption for water and ice. Added optional ice maker which takes up only about a third of that space. Love the way you can see everything in there with minimum door swing. Order additional glass shelf and door bin for the frig side.

no ice maker and I love it, I have been waiting for a fridge to come out without an ice maker. It is spacious :) I love it. ATTACHED are photos showing dimensions as I looked everywhere myself so to help others. There are two different depth shelves int he freezer in the middle of the freezre is a smaller shelf and the others are all slightly larger.

I love this refrigerator, I have plenty of room to store alot more food...

We have had this refrigerator for a month and so far we are very pleased! It is well lighted spacious inside, and quiet. The freezer door was slightly lower than the refrigerator door but not noticeable unless you stare at it. (Which would be creepy anyway) So far a great product!

This is a nice basic model. I was limited by the space in my kichen, so I needed a good fridge that wasn't huge. This model has everything you need an ice maker would take alot of the freezer space so I opted for no ice maker. Still very nice unit. We have used it for about a month. Nothing gets lost in fridge.

Nice frig, no frills, got the optional ice maker, cranks out plenty of cubes a day for 99 bucks. Delivery was delayed and slow......... from Whirlpool, our local Home Depot was awesome enough to give us a loaner until the delivery was made, they dropped it off AND picked it up - *****yeah and shout out to Englewood, FL McCall Rd Home Depot - great folks there. Super easy to clean, lighting is bright, temp perfect, quiet, tons of room, love this thing, only had it a couple weeks but very happy with the choice.

Tons of space without the ice maker taking up room in the freezer! Nice sleek look. My only complaints are the bottom shelf of the freezer falls off if you stack stuff on it unbalanced or bump it. Also I upgraded from a 12 yr old whirlpool model and this one came with one less fridge drawer. Overall very happy!

I like the fridge very much.although my biggest worry is reliability. My old Whirlpool was 25 years old, they don’t make them like they use to.

Worst designed refrigerator that I have ever owned. The placement of the water directly in front of the ice dispenser in the door is a big mistake. It drips water down the front of the door every time it's used. Because the opening for the cups is so small, you have to tilt your cup to get ice. However the water lever is directly in front of the ice lever, so half the time you hit the water lever when getting ice and it sprays everywhere because the cup and you hand are under it. Expect to get you body and the floor soaked. In general they should have made the opening large enough to fit a large tumbler type cup below the dispensers and put the dispensers side by side. The ice maker is not the standard half cylinder shaped cubes that dump to the side. The cubes are shaped like a standard manual fill and dump cube tray, and they dump directly below the tray. This causes the ice maker to shut down when the bin is only about 1/3 full. You don't get a very large capacity of ice cubes on hand, and the empty bin takes up a large portion of the freezer. The controls on the refrigerator are mounted on the side of the top shelf, which means that 2-3 inches of the top shelf can not be used as the controls are in the way. The shelfs are not adjustable and are height limiting. You can not fit a standard 2 liter soda bottles on the top shelf. As far as I'm concerned the top shelf is the most used shelf by adults and its design limits its use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Refrigerator is spacious, attractive, and keeps food appropriately cold. There has been no spoilage with my milk since keeping it on the lowest shelf of the fridge! Sale price was mid-range. The freezer offers more room too, since there is no attached icemaker. There is a loud intermittent hum to the refrigerator that did take me a few weeks to get used to but no longer bothers me. There was no cheese drawer, however, I purchased one online. The stainless steel exterior can get easily scratched and be difficult to remove fingerprints, but adding photos or artwork to the area can hide this defect. I recommend purchasing any warranties offered for added peace of mind. I really like this style of fridge!

Plenty of space in refrigerator and ample room in the freezer. Easy to clean and relatively quiet. New technology is a welcome change, in the heart of any home. Do not hesitate to purchase, if shopping to update.

More variety of moving the shelves - some have too great of a space and some very small space; the lighting location takes up space - bulky and hard to fit items onto the space; same with the freezer section. Thus, provide more options to locate shelves; adjust placement of lights and freezer components to have more useable space. Also, it came with stains on the door and hard to remove the stains on the stainless-steel coating. The installers had grease on their hands and the door and sides of the refrigerator were stained.

I had a very similar refrigerator that I had to replace. When loading it up, I realized that the refrigerator has one less drawer and the freeze that used to have two or three draws has one pull out bin. I am kind of disappointed and should have paid more attention.
