How do I change my account information?

Once you have been accepted, you will be given access to The Home Depot Affiliate Program via the Impact platform website. Log into your Impact Account and under the navigation bar you will see a settings icon. You can update your account information here.

What if I am already a member of Impact, can I join The Home Depot Affiliate Program?

Yes, if you are already a member of Impact, you will already have access to The Home Depot Program. Simply log into your Impact Account and apply to The Home Depot program.

Will joining the program increase traffic to my site?

The purpose of The Home Depot Affiliate Program is to compensate you if refer a customer to and a sale is made. The program is not designed to help you increase traffic to your site. However, it does enhance your site with content which may result in the increase of your user return rate.

Where can I find your policies for working with The Home Depot Affiliate Program?

The Terms and Conditions of the program will be displayed on the bottom of the application. You will also be given a complete list of all relevant program policies when you have been officially accepted into the affiliate program.

What is a qualified sale?

A qualified sale is a sales transaction that is not cancelled, declined or returned.

How much will I earn?

The Home Depot offers a generous commission on products. Our current commission is 1% on products, mobile, and buy online pick up in-store orders, 1% on appliances, and 8% on select home décor products. The more you sell, the more you earn. 

All gift card, installation services, custom created products, select special orders and in-store purchases are not eligible for commissions.

What is cookie duration?

Cookie duration refers to a cookie that is placed on the end user browser. Our cookie duration is 1 day. If a customer has clicked on a link on your site and places an order within 24 hours of the click, you will receive commission for that order.

How do I track my earnings?

Through the Impact Platform you can access reports, updated daily, that provide information on impressions, click-throughs and commissions earned.

How often do I get paid?

Payments for commissions earned in a prior month (or earlier) are processed on or around the 20th of each month and issued by check or direct deposit shortly thereafter. Keep in mind that The Home Depot extends all transactions for an additional month to allow for confirmation the transaction is valid, allow for any returned merchandise, confirm credit card processing and to verify the transaction is not a duplicate.

Checks will be issued for a minimum of $100. If you signed up for direct deposit, the minimum payout is $50. For totals below these thresholds, we will carry over your earnings total until you reach the appropriate threshold. Earnings will then be distributed at the relevant monthly payout date.

How will you know that the orders came from me?

All links from your site to contain a unique identifier that tracks every time a user comes to us via your customized link, so that we know to credit you when a sale is made. If you attempt to alter the links that you pull from your Impact account in any way, your tracking could be lost, resulting in lost commissions to you.

How often can I run reports?

Reports are available 24 hours a day by logging into Impact

What is a PID?

PID refers to your Impact Partner Website ID. This is necessary to create your unique URL so that orders can be tracked back to your account.
