We partner with four main types of suppliers:

- Merchandising Suppliers: Provide products sold directly to our customers in-store and online.

- Non-Merchandising Suppliers: Provide the essential goods and services that support our corporate and retail operations.

- Service Installation Providers: Local professionals who deliver expert home installation services to our customers.

- Food Vendors: On-site food and beverage operators who provide dining and concession services within or adjacent to our retail locations.

While specific requirements vary by supplier type, all partners must generally meet our legal, insurance and safety compliance standards. You may also be required to pass necessary background checks and demonstrate operational capabilities, such as Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) for seamless order management.

Yes; The Supplier Pipeline team fosters strong 3rd party relationships throughout the U.S. to ensure The Home Depot can source innovative solutions that provide value to our customers.

The tenets of our Supplier Pipeline Program are: Engage, Connect and Develop. The Supplier Pipeline program is designed to create shareholder value by connecting internal sourcing needs with the external capabilities of small or emerging suppliers, fostering innovation and supply chain resilience.

Although we don’t offer a marketplace, we do have established onboarding paths.
