Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

Does The Home Depot have good deals for Memorial Day?

Prepare to save money when you shop The Home Depot Memorial Day Sale. We've got the major purchases you want to save on: grills, patio furniture, outdoor power equipment, appliances, and more. Some categories have select items up to 40%, while others offer up to 20% off. It's easy to shop for bargains at our sale that runs May 14th to May 27th in person at your local store or with our mobile app.

What do I do to prepare my home for flip-flopping spring temps?

Be certain your home is equipped for wild temperature swings by repairing faulty parts of your hardscaping and home. If water gets in the cracks, you could be looking at trouble. Check cinder blocks and brick for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from water damage and missing pieces. On your house's exterior, inspect metal roofing or shingles for rust or damage that can let water come in. Keep gutters clear and functional to prevent excess water from backing up into your home when storms arrive. Lastly, vinyl siding and chimney caps should be swapped out if they're badly weathered.

What kinds of moving boxes do you carry?

Make moving or storage easier by picking up a mix of moving boxes. We've got the sizes you've been searching for, including specialty ones like wardrobe and TV boxes. Cushion any and all items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it to your next location safely. Don't forget to check out our moving truck rentals if you need those, too.

Why should I get a generator?

Enjoy electricity in your home even after severe storms take it out. We've got the options you need when searching for a generator for sale. Inverter generators are cleaner and quieter than traditional portable generators. They adjust to whatever power load is requested. This means they'll make less noise while they create less power. When shopping for generators, keep in mind that portable generators cost less and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're louder and heavier. Always run your generators outside, away from doors and windows, for safety purposes.

Why should I get a doorbell camera?

Enjoy peace of mind, safety, and privacy with a wireless or wired doorbell camera. No more peeking through an adjacent window when you can watch animal or human visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you talk to whoever is on your doorstep via your phone, a useful interaction for delivery people or to scare off would-be porch pirates. Many cameras integrate with your smart home app or hub to give you easy and flexible accessibility. Choose to save video clips for future reference as needed.

What will the next free Kids Workshop be?

Stop by for the Kids Workshop on June 6th, from 9 a.m. to noon or while supplies last. It's time to put together a pint-sized goalie game! Your little builder can assemble their very own soccer craft — like the tabletop version but kid-sized. Remember to leave some time to play a few rounds of DIY soccer!

Does the Port Orange Home Depot offer Curbside Pickup?

Yes, you can pick up Curbside Orders from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. using The Home Depot app. Select "Curbside with The Home Depot App" at checkout when you shop eligible Store Pickup items.
