How can I prepare my home for summer temps?
Be confident your home is equipped for summer temps by replacing or repairing faulty parts of your hardscaping and home. If moisture gets in the crevices, you could be dealing with damage. Check cinder blocks and brick for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces. On the outside of your home, inspect metal roofs or roof shingles for damage that may let water in. Keep gutters fully functional to prevent excess water from seeping beneath your shingles when storms arrive. Lastly, vinyl siding and chimney caps should be changed out if they're in poor condition.
Do you carry large moving boxes?
Make storage or moving easier by picking up an assortment of moving boxes. We've got the sizes you've been searching for, including specialty ones like TV and wardrobe boxes. Cushion any and all items with moving blankets and bubble cushion to ensure your belongings make it to your next location safely. Remember to check out our rental moving trucks if you need those, too.
Why should I get a generator?
Having a generator means you're prepared year-round for any circumstances Mother Nature throws at you. Whether dealing with tornados, blizzards, or strong winds, a portable generator lets you enjoy electricity when the elements take it out. When exploring different generators for sale, keep in mind that portable generators are more affordable and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're heavier and louder. Always run your generators outside, away from windows and doors, for safety purposes.
Does The Home Depot sell doorbell cameras?
Enjoy privacy, peace of mind, and safety with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. No more peeking through a nearby window when you can see human or animal visitors in real time. Some doorbell cameras even let you speak to whoever is at the door via your phone, a useful interaction to scare off potential porch pirates or talk to delivery people. Most cameras integrate with your smart home app or hub to give you easy and flexible accessibility. Choose to save video clips for future reference and worry less with more control.
When is the Home Depot Kids Workshop in July?
Head to our Kids Workshop on 7/4/2026, from 9–12 noon or while supplies last. It's time to put together a pint-sized wooden go-kart! Your little builder can assemble their very own go-kart craft. The best part is pushing around your go-kart, so leave some time to play with others!
