To Whom it may concern: The Bloomington Minnesota store seems to have a STUPIDITY problem with the fact that they are obsessed with keeping their construction materials carts, all 3 styles, outside. I asked Kevin 2 or 3 years ago if he couldn't keep the carts inside and by their respective products ? He preceded to inform me that it was Home Depot policy to keep them outside. Liar-Liar pants on fire ! I live in SW Bloomington Minnesota. Equal drive to both the Shakopee and Bloomington Home Depots. For about the last 3 winters when ever I need a little sheetrock, 2X4's etc.. and it is winter I drive to Shakopee.. as they keep all of their carts inside. However, I am not able to easily drive to Shakopee during certain times of he day based on traffic.. so today I just needed 4 2X6's 4 2X4's and 1 sheet of plywood.. ALL of today's shopping list will easily fit on one rail-cart... traffic was such that I chose the Bloomington store.. It's about 20 degrees here.. I literally wore my old ski gloves as I was certain I would be forced to bring a rail cart in from outside.. There was NO rail carts outside, only trolley, and flat.. So.. I wander down the 2X4 isle.. no carts... I check the sheet rock isle.. no carts..quick.. call the Bloomington Police.. The Home Depot has been robbed ! I had to walk way to the back of the store to find ONE cart so that I can give you people money ! After I got done loading my truck I brought the one lone cart that I was using back into the store and I placed it in it's PROPER place right near the 2X4's for the next customer. I literally did this.. sure enough.. within 90 seconds of me placing the cart.. in.. did I mention .. the CORRECT place ? another customer was now using this cart.. About 4 or 5 weeks ago I did bring this ridiculous cart situation to the new store manager.. Female store manager, I don't remember her name.. she said she would work on it.. ?? So, my truck is loaded.. I could just leave.. I decided differently ! I again explained to two different cashiers that there was no rail-carts at all and that it is STUPID for all of the other carts to be outside. The one cashier did go way outside in the cold with no gloves and no jacket.. he did successfully find 2 rail-carts.. there was one other rail cart sitting in the lumber isle full of product that looks like it may have been a return.. If you can count.. we are now up to a grand total of 4 rail carts.. How do you run a Home Depot with 4 rail carts ?? Are they being stolen ?? I told the cashier that I was now going to bring the carts in myself ! And I made 3 trips outside and brought in trolley-carts and I lined them up neatly in the middle of the lumber isle and I told them to get me the highest manager in the store so I could tell them again: 1) you do NOT have enough rail carts at the store 2) Stop keeping the carts outside. This request was first made about 3 years ago.

Product was available as described on the Home Depot website. This, plus the assistance of the sales associate made for an easier purchase. Also, I was given more help than I expected in loading my purchase on my trailer.

I really like this store, the staff is very friendly and I have been able to find or been asked for help every time I visit. The only one thing this location is missing is a tool rental department.

Ling Li was VERY helpful and professional as I shopped for an air purifier. She printed specifications and ratings of the models I was interested in. We compared and discussed them. She helped me make the right decision for my needs. Thanks Li, because of your help I would definitely go back to this Home Depot.
