When you're ready to kick off your next DIY project with confidence, you want the correct tools for the job. In many cases, The Home Depot Tool and Truck Rental Center can help you expand your toolbox and your garage. We're known for quality moving truck, power saw, and tool rentals.
Tool Rental
Start your next DIY project with confidence and the best tools for the job. Let The Home Depot Gilbert Tool Rental Center fill in the gaps in your toolbox with the tools you don't have on hand. You can rent what you need and bring them back when the job is done. In fact, if you found the tools so useful that you didn't want to return them, we have used tools available for purchase. The retired rental tools are discounted compared to the new items in our aisles.
Make Painting Easier with Paint Sprayer and Ladder Rentals
Gorgeous spring days are the perfect time to tackle outdoor painting projects. Make surfaces look new again with a fresh coat of paint. Whether you need rental ladders for painting walls, rental scaffolding for painting a house or shed, or a rental paint sprayer for professional coverage, we've got what you need.
Add Insulation When the Weather Is Cooler
For a more energy-efficient home, refresh your insulation in the spring, if possible, before it gets dangerously hot in your attic. Rent specialized equipment for insulation to install it correctly. Choose from a fiberglass blower or a cellulose insulation blower, and get those nooks and crannies insulated properly. Help keep your heating and cooling bills under control with new insulation that maintains the temperature of your home.
Truck Rental
To make it easier to transport large tool rentals, we keep pickup trucks and Penske moving trucks ready for rental, with availability varying by store. You're sure to find the right size truck rental for your DIY project so you can keep your timeline running smoothly. As your trusted source for DIY projects, packing, and storage needs, it's easy to make us your go-to source for transport and moving, too.
To get tools and transportation for your home improvement or DIY project, check out the Tool and Truck Rental Center in Gilbert. Having the right tools for the job makes a difference. We're your one-stop shop to get from doing to done.
How do I rent tools and trucks?
Stop by your local Rental Center to see what's available. If you'd like to know what's in stock, call first to inquire about a truck or tool. You could also check out our tool and equipment rental or truck rental pages to see if what you need is offered at your local store. For more information on renting tools, read our Tool Rental FAQs, including equipment terms and conditions. All rental trucks, as well as larger tools, require CLEAR verification.
How long can I rent tools?
You can rent a tool for four hours or longer. Simply choose the length of time that suits you. Small DIY projects may only require a rental for a few hours, and bigger jobs aren't a problem either. You have options to rent tools by the day, week, or month, too. If you need it longer than anticipated, call the Rental Center to arrange an extension and avoid late fees.
When do I need to return the tools?
You can return the tools early if you finish your project sooner than predicted, but on time works, too. As long as you return it by the deadline you were given when you rented it, you'll be good to go. Please clean any residual dust, mud, and grime from the tool as well. If you need it longer, call the rental center to see if you can extend your rental period.
Do saw rentals come with saw blades?
Yes, power saw rentals generally come with blades, but we do recommend that you buy your own. Your rental likely won't come with a new blade. However, you may luck out and have a sharpened blade on the saw. As there's no guarantee, it's better to buy a suitable blade, just in case you need it.
Do I need to refill the rental truck with gas?
Yes, please fuel up the truck before you return it. Note the amount of gas in the tank when you receive the truck, and be sure to fill it with enough gas to match that same level. When you don't refill the truck, you have to pay a penalty known as the fuel replacement charge.
Do I just need a driver's license to rent a truck?
No, you also need to be 21 or older, in addition to holding a valid driver's license. Be ready for CLEAR verification with its required selfie. Depending on your state, you may require car insurance, as well as a deposit or credit card hold, too. We don't accept cash for Home Depot truck rentals, so please bring your credit card. Penske moving truck rentals have different requirements, so read those if you plan to rent a Penske truck.
