Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

Does The Home Depot have any Spring Deals?

Enjoy some of the best savings of the season with our Spring Deals. New tools help take care of that to-do list as the weather brings sunny cheer. It's also a great time for lawn and garden work outdoors, organizing your home with the perfect storage, and setting up new appliances indoors. Remember to upgrade your patio furniture and outdoor power equipment as well. Get everything done when you save during our Spring Deals sale, running from 4/23/26 through 5/10/26. Don't miss out on these bargains.

How can I prepare my home for fluctuating spring temps?

Be confident your home is set for wild temperature swings by replacing or repairing faulty parts of your home. On your house's exterior, examine shingles or metal roofs for rust or damage that may let water seep in. Chimney caps and vinyl siding should be swapped out if they're badly weathered. Keep gutters clear and functional to prevent ice dams if you're still prone to snow and ice storms. Also, check brick and cinder blocks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from water damage. If water freezes inside the crevices, you could be dealing with damage.

Do you have moving boxes?

Make your move easier by picking up a mix of moving boxes. We've got the sizes you want, including specialty ones like TV and wardrobe boxes. Cushion your items with moving blankets and bubble cushion to ensure your belongings make it to your next location safely. Don't forget to check out our moving truck rentals if you need those as well.

Should I get an inverter generator or a portable generator?

Restore power in your home even after severe weather takes it out. We've got the options you need when searching for a generator for sale. Inverter generators are quieter and cleaner than traditional portable generators. They'll adjust to the required load, making less noise when they create less power. When searching for generators, keep in mind that portable generators cost less and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're louder and heavier. Always run your generators outside, away from windows and doors, for safety purposes.

Does The Home Depot sell doorbell cameras?

Enjoy safety, peace of mind, and privacy with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. Stop peeking through an adjacent window when you can see human or animal visitors in real time. Some doorbell cameras even let you chat remotely via your phone, a useful interaction to scare off would-be porch pirates or talk to delivery people. Several cameras integrate with your smart home hub or app to give you flexible accessibility. Save video clips for future reference and worry less with more control.

What's the project for the free Kids Workshop in May?

Head to our Kids Workshop on May 2nd, from 9–noon or while supplies last. It's time to assemble a keepsake box! Your little builder can put together their very own trinket holder — complete with a sliding lid. Remember to leave plenty of time to decorate your box with stickers!
