Does my local Home Depot still offer Kids Workshops?
Yes, the N Lincoln store offers in-person Kids Workshops. These free in-store events take place every first Saturday of the month between 9am and noon. Kids Workshop kits are available on a first-come, first-served basis, while supplies last. We have a new kit pack every month to keep your little doer engaged. Included in the kits are all necessary craft materials, as well as instructions, stickers, an apron pin, a certificate of achievement, and a Discovery Education extension activity. Paint and all other required tools are provided at the event. Customers who prefer not to participate in the in-person event can pick up their free kit in-store or order online at our Kids Projects Activities page to have it shipped to their home. Call us or visit our customer service counter to check the availability of the kits.

The Home Depot gift cards are a popular choice during the Holiday season, with givers and doers that can be purchased in-store at our brick-and-mortar stores or online at homedepot.com. If you are a recipient, you can check your gift card balance online or visit your local Home Depot store and ask a cashier to check the balance for you. Our gift cards can be redeemed in-store or used to make purchases online with no additional fees.
What additional precautions is The Home Depot taking in light of COVID-19?
As part of our normal practice, our stores and other facilities are cleaned and sanitized daily. Following guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), we've increased the frequency of cleaning and general hygiene maintenance in stores and other locations. We've also stepped up our efforts to disinfect high-traffic and high-touch areas like self-checkout, door handles, and bathrooms, as well as posting signage about handwashing and other preventative actions.
We're promoting social distancing in our stores and distribution centers, which includes stores limiting the number of customers inside at any given time. In addition to training our associates on social distancing, we've placed distancing markers at some of our checkout counters and are making overhead announcements on our store PA systems asking customers to practice social distancing.

Great customer service!
I went to Home Depot to specifically look for the Bar Keepers Friend. I asked an associate if they carried the item. More than willing, he lead me straight to the product and asked if there was anything else he could help me with. Then when I was checking out, the cashier commented on what a great product it was. I appreciated this because I didn't even know it existed until my son was searching online for a stainless steel cleaner. The product was available in a powder and a liquid form. I was pleased with the price as well!

I went into Home Depot to return or exchange a mower. I was also walking in without my receipt and knowing if I put anything on my card. Luckily enough I had used my cc for it. Donna & Michelle helped me at the Customer Service Desk. We ended up returning the mower and price matching one close to it. Thanks Ladies! It made my day to be treated good after bad times shopping places!

Extra friendly employees
Best service I ever had from a big box store. Employees are super friendly and knowledgeable. One guy even wait me to ask...I looked confused and he knew I needed help finding something. He stopped what he was doing and walked me across the store right to it.
