92 1/2” is not eight feet. To return them would be costly on my part. Made use of them but still had waste I had not planned, and my original purpose had to be bypassed.

The employees are poorly instructed by the managers, they are only limited to the basic rules of the company, there is NO extra leap or an intention to be better every month.

I recently went in to upgrade my smoke alarms to carbon monoxide/general smoke detectors. This store has given me such great advice on everything. I am very pleased.

This HD only has 1 customer service person that knows each trade (e.g., electrical, plumbing, etc.). I went there to buy a water tank expansion unit and needed some plumbing couplings. I went at 1pm. I asked for assistance and was told to wait in the plumbing aisle for an associate. I waited 10 minutes for help. No one came. Then I asked again for help and was told to wait in the aisle again. Another 10 minutes went by. Not one person came to help!!!!! When I escalated this to the manager to see if they could help. After another 5 minutes, I was told that the plumbing expert was on lunch and to come back later in the day. They made me waste 20 minbutes waiting for a person that didn't exist. Not once did anyone say that the expert was on lunch. They just send you to an aisle. They have to train others in each department area so there is no knowledge gap. The other people in the pro department were basically worthless and there to be a cashier -- they had zero knowledge or common sense on how to help a customer or nor had any home repair experience. I might as well have gone to McDonald's for home repair help (at least they have more helpful employees). Sad.

I'm so happy that Natica and Richard were at my local HD today! They were amazing and went above and beyond helping me and my elderly parents get a new refrigerator. Their patience and willing attitude to help was much appreciated!

Shelves are well stocked! Large selection of product and brands! Staff is knowledgeable and courteous!

The staff at the Stratford Home Depot are awesome - particularly the team in the Garden Center - Big Dave is always available to help with loading heavy items on my cart and in my cart and if he's out there is always someone else willing to help. Everyone is helpful and friendly.

Maria in Appliances was knowledgeable, patient and extremely courteous while helping me purchase a washer/dryer.

We went to order carpet for my mom's home. The process couldn't have been easier. The staff was so willing to answer questions and the check out process was seamless. There was even an unexpected free installation promotion running that we were able to take advantage of.

Visited on 2/17 to purchase a new gas can, ice melt, and an energy drink. Scanned my 3 items with an associate over my shoulder. Went to leave, and the cart wheel stopped, causing it to slam into my waist. The associate checked my cart again, and let me go on my way. This is not the way to treat honest, paying customers. I will not be back.

I just purchased a dryer machine and the lady at the department Maria was really helpful!

Keisha was very helpful she cut my shopping time in half

I purchased several bags of ice melt that were quite heavy. Keisha made sure I found everything I needed with ease. She rang me up with a pleasant smile and friendly demeanor. She also placed a call for the parking lot technicians to help me please the heavy bags in my truck. I enjoy coming to Home Depot in Stratford.

Tobias in appliances was extremely helpful and polite. He explained things clearly and offered to print me a quote so I’d haa a be all info to make my decision. If you need an appliance please see him in the appliance dept

Every time I go to the Stratford Home Depot with whatever projects I have going on Shawn is always there to greet me and to help me in every way he can. He is such a team player.

How ridiculous is that the store will not carry brown paper shopping bags ANYMORE, because of cost issues!!

The store is as good as it has always been. But today an employee went above and beyond for me. Getting me a piece of cardboard that they usually would not sell.

Staff is poorly trained on purchase discrepancies and lack of supervision.
