Why is there cold air coming in around the door?
If you have cold air seeping in under the door, check your door sweep, the rubber piece on the bottom of the door, for cracks and missing pieces. Replace it if it's damaged. When a house settles unevenly, pieces that once fit snugly can go off-kilter. Gaps can form around the sides of doors or the thresholds may loosen with time. Fill the space with weather stripping or foam tape, and caulk any cracks in the wooden door frame. If you're still feeling drafts around the door, place an insulated fabric door snake along the ground.

When can I use my Blackstone grill or griddle again?
Cold temps put a damper on outdoor grilling. When winter thaws into spring, bring out your trusty propane grill to warm things up even more. Enjoy a spring evening out on the patio, grilling stone fruit, vegetables, meat, or even pizza. A Blackstone griddle makes it easy to char and flip your food just right. Blackstone flat top grills work whenever you want to grill a savory and delicious meal.

How do I prepare for snow and freezing temperatures?
When you live in a location where snow falls, it's a good idea to upgrade or organize your snow removal tool kit before a winter storm hits. Have a gas can ready to top off your gas snowblower if it's not already filled for the season, or check the battery on your electric snowblower. Don't forget to get out the sleds for the kids, and prep ice melt or salt and a salt spreader. Make sure your outdoor taps are drained and covered, too, with all hoses disconnected. Simple steps like these keep you ready for whatever winter weather brings.

You can buy gift cards at our brick-and-mortar stores or online at homedepot.com. If you receive a gift card, you can visit the Stratford Home Depot and ask a cashier to check the balance for you or check your gift card balance online. David Feudo- Awesome Employee
David was tremendous as he took a great deal of time with me and walked across the entire store to the garden center to help me with an issue. He demonstrated empathy, understanding and generosity as the plants I wanted were dying because of lack of water . Because of employees like David, I keep coming back.

            Christine was Rude
The store itself was clean and nice, but my experience with Christine is why I will never go to this store again. I stopped by to buy screws to fix a door at my job. I asked Christine for help finding the correct size. While looking for the screw with Christine, I called a part by the wrong name, to which she responded by saying, "You're a boy, learn the correct names.", implying that as a "man" I should have known the names. It is important to not that I am a FEMALE and only have my hair cut just above my shoulders which does not make me a boy. In shock, I said nothing in response. She then went to check me out at the cash register and asked, "Cash or card?'. I responded that I would be paying with a card, to which she said, "It's literally only $0.67. You seriously don't have a dollar?". This made me feel embarrassed for not having cash. I again froze and let her know that I do not carry any cash. Then, Christine spoke to another employee in front of me and said, "See, we don't need men at Home Depot! I just helped this GUY find screws." She emphasized that I was a "guy" and how they did not need "men", even though I am a FEMALE. Either way, it was extremely disrespectful, sexist, and out of line. I said nothing and when leaving the store she had the audacity to say, "Make sure to fill out the survey on your receipt and tell them how well Chris did!", wanting me to compliment her after she insulted me and my intelligence for 20 minutes straight and embarrassed me in front of other staff members. I would most likely never return to this location due to my fear of seeing her again and experiencing more emotional damage and embarrassment. I have never been treated this way in the general public, let alone from an employee that I politely had asked to help me!
