Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

How long is The Home Depot Spring Deals event?

Another huge spring sale is here, so prepare to save money. Whether you're upgrading your home with new appliances or just doing spring cleaning and repairs with the latest tools, we've got what you need. Remember to check out our patio furniture, outdoor power equipment and lawn and garden bargains, too. Get great Spring Deals from April 23rd through May 10th and enjoy your new products all year long.

What do I do to prepare my home for flip-flopping spring temps?

Be certain your home is set for spring temperature changes by repairing faulty parts of your hardscaping. Check cinder blocks and brick for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from water damage. If moisture freezes inside the crevices, you might be looking at trouble. On your house's exterior, inspect shingles or metal roofs for rust or damage that could let water seep in. Keep gutters functional and clear to prevent ice dams if you're still prone to snow and ice storms. Lastly, chimney caps and vinyl siding should be swapped out if they're in poor condition.

Do you have moving boxes?

Pick up a variety of moving boxes to make storage and moving easier. We've got the sizes you're searching for, including specialty ones like wardrobe and TV boxes. Cushion any and all items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it to your next location safely. Look into our moving truck rentals, too, and take care of your DIY move needs in one place.

Should I get a portable generator or an inverter generator?

Having a generator means you're prepared year-round for any circumstances Mother Nature throws at you. Whether dealing with tornados, blizzards, or strong winds, a portable generator lets you enjoy electricity when the elements take it out. When browsing generators for sale, keep in mind that inverter generators are more expensive than portable generators, but they're also quieter and cleaner. Always run your generators outdoors, away from windows and doors, for safety purposes.

Do you have wired or wireless doorbell cameras?

Enjoy privacy, safety, and peace of mind with a wireless or wired doorbell camera. Stop peeking through a peephole when you can see human or animal visitors in real time. Some doorbell cameras even let you speak to whoever is at the door via your phone, a useful interaction for delivery people or to scare off potential porch pirates. Most cameras integrate with your smart home app or hub to give you flexible accessibility. Choose to save video clips for future reference as needed.

What's the project at the May Home Depot Kids Workshop?

Head to our Kids Workshop to encourage future craftspeople and builders! Introduce your children to the joys of building with this keepsake box. Constructing a box with a lid that slides on is a great way to hone listening abilities, fine motor skills, and creativity. This cute kids' project is happening on 5/2/26, from 9 a.m. to noon or while supplies last.
