Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

What's on sale for the Spring Deals event?

The Home Depot Spring Deals sale is here to help you save even more. Save big on lawn and garden, including mulch, as well as outdoor power equipment. That way, you'll be prepared to enjoy the greenery and beauty this season. You can also get a jump on spring cleaning and DIY projects by taking advantage of low prices on storage and tools. Don't forget to embrace energy-efficient living with new appliances, too. These special Spring Deals run from April 23rd through May 10th, so shop fast!

How can I prepare my home for fluctuating spring temperatures?

Be certain your home is set for spring temperature changes by repairing or replacing faulty parts of your hardscaping and home. If water gets in the crevices, you might be dealing with mold. Check brick and cinder blocks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from water damage and missing pieces. On the exterior of your home, examine roof shingles or metal roofs for damage or rust that can let water come in. Keep gutters clear and functional to prevent excess water from seeping beneath your shingles when storms arrive. Lastly, vinyl siding and chimney caps should be changed out if they're in poor condition.

Do you carry large moving boxes?

Pick up an assortment of moving boxes to make moving and storage easier. We've got the sizes you're looking for, including specialty ones like wardrobe and TV boxes. Cushion any and all items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it to your next location safely. Look into our rental moving trucks, too, and take care of your DIY move needs in one place.

Should I get an inverter generator or a portable generator?

Having a generator means you're prepared year-round for whatever circumstances Mother Nature throws at you. Whether dealing with severe thunderstorms or tornados, a portable generator lets you enjoy power when the elements take it out. When browsing generators for sale, remember that inverter generators cost more than portable generators, but they're also quieter and cleaner. For safety purposes, always run your generators outdoors, away from doors and windows.

Do you have doorbell cameras?

Enjoy peace of mind, privacy, and safety with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. No more peeking through a window or peephole when you can watch human or animal visitors in real time. Some doorbell cameras even let you chat remotely via your phone, a useful interaction for delivery people or to scare off potential porch pirates. Several cameras integrate with your smart home app or hub to give you easy accessibility. Choose to save video clips for future reference as it suits you.

Which project will be featured at the free Kids Workshop?

Head to our Kids Workshop on May 2nd, from 9 a.m. to noon or while supplies last. It's time to put together a keepsake box! Your little builder can assemble their very own trinket holder — complete with a sliding lid. Remember to leave enough time to decorate your box with stickers!
