The maximum thickness the jig can fit is 1.5".
It will just barely accommodate a 2x4, the max thickness the jig can fit is 1.5".
It is not adjustable, the only adjustable component on this unit is the knob that holds the board in place while drilling. Size of screws that will be buried is determined by the thickness of the board that the screw is going into, i cant make a determination without more information.
