Do you always need a key to unlock insy& outside?
Dear Valued Home Depot Customer, We have reached out to the manufacturer and their reply is, Thank you for your interest in our Dove White Solid Rod Pocket Room Darkening Curtain, measuring 50 in. W x 120 in. L per panel. Hanging two 50-inch wide panels will adequately cover a 66-inch space. Together, the panels provide a total width of 100 inches, which is more than sufficient to cover the area and create a full, gathered appearance when hanged on a rod.

My door is 1" solid wood. Is there any way I can use this, or another like it? This said minimum door thickness is 1.5, but I don't see many like this.
Thank you for your inquiry regarding this item from Prime-Line Products. Use your own discretion. The width is 9/16" of the mortise. The knob and spindle width range from 7/8" to 2 3/16". It depends on if you are putting Escutcheon plates the door which will increase the width.

This vintage style glass door knob set is constructed of clear fluted glass and brass plated materials. This knob set is designed for indoor use only, and it fits door panels from 1 in. to 1-3/4 in. thick. The diecast base on these knobs include the set screws for fastening the knobs to the 17/64 in. x 3-1/2 in. square steel spindle with 3/8 in. -20 threads. Note: This passage door set cannot be used on pre-bored doors that have large newer style door knob holes without first prepping them to receive this hardware. Installation tip #1: Because the fasteners of the rosettes require a solid surface to mount to, the large 2-1/8 in. (approximate size) holes must first be filled with a hardening filler, to then be able to receive the rosette fasteners.
