Backsplash is built in and holes are pre drilled. Side splash pieces are available for a fee if you need those.

The top arrived with back splash molded to unit and standard single center cut out for faucet. I believed there may have been an option to order it with different cut out option for faucet.

Toolman, Thank you for your interest in our Swan solid surface vanity top. The backsplash is part of the mold of this vanity top and therefore does not need to be purchased separately. As to the faucet holes, since each homeowner has different faucet preferences, we pre-drill one hole for you, but there are an additional 4 drill points marked on the underneath of the vanity. The additional fixture holes can be drilled with a 1 1⁄4" router, spade bit, twist drill or hole saw. If you bought the Gray Granite color of this particular item, the closest matching side-splash model will be VT-22SS-042. The 042 at the end is the color code. I accidentally bought a different sidesplash that was shown as a related item but it as thin and solid, and too long. The VT-22SS is the correct thickness but has some drawbacks: 1) It's hollow on the side facing the wall, so if you are trimming it down, be sure to only trim one side since trimming past .5-.75" will expose the hollow area. Not a big deal as long as planned for it. 2) Unlike the curvature of the vanity top to the built-in back splash, this side-splash piece is made to fit either left or right-side side and therefore doesn't have a nice curve to it in any corner, so it needs to be sanded somehow if you want it to fit/look better. 3) The most annoying issue with the five units that I ordered is they were all bowed in the middle. I read about this defect in prior reviews of these Swan side splashes, but thought it may be a temp manufacturing issue. When trying to attach it, it's painfully obviously it has a bow on each piece. I called Swan and they stated it as within tolerances and to be prepared to have to brace the piece while glueing to get it to glue straight. Honestly, that was a pretty disappointing answer and just wonder if over time when the glue weakens if it'll just pop back out? The only concession they made is some which had fairly visible defects of being skewed just towards the end of a piece were odd and perhaps only those would be considered for warranty replacement or I should just return them. As I need them to work, I'm currently attempting to see if straightening via bricks in the middle while suspended on the ends will help. So somewhat buyer beware on this one.

Swan sinks come with the center hole drilled. Underneath there are predrilled holes for either a 4" or 8" faucet spread. The holes can easily be drilled with a hole saw by going half way up from the bottom, then finishing by drilling down. Good luck with your project.

It depends on the fixture for the water you are going to use which hole you need to drill.

Thank you for your interest in Swan's CV02243-042. Yes, we do have two options available: Model # VT21-3SS-042 or Model #VT22SS-042. Both side splashes can be special ordered through your local Home Depot store. The side splashes are manufactured from the same solid surface material as the vanity top. The difference between the two is that the VT21-3SS-042 is 3/8" thick and the VT22SS-042 is 3/4" thick. Both are made to fit Swan's 22" deep sinks. The material can be trimmed using a circle saw with 14 teeth per inch blade.
