Hello Verb: No, all buckets between 4-6 gallons, sold in the USA, require a Child Safety Warning label to be printed on the bucket. The label is permanent and cannot be removed. Other than the child-safety warning, there is no other labeling or printing on the bucket.
no. there is a two inch by 6 inch (vertical) label with bar code printed on the side
The ones I ordered and had delivered were completely white.
It has a 3x8" printed label
Correct. There are not any logos or writing on them.
Hi Rayy, you are correct, the published diameter is rounded high. The correct diameter is 11.872" or slightly under 12". I will have that corrected. Thank you for the feedback!
Hi Michelle, no these buckets are not food safe. If they are food safe, there will be a sticker indicating so. Search on #300197644 to see the food safe buckets. You'll see the sticker with the spoon, fork, knife that says "Food Grade Container."

No
Hi Missy, No, lids are not included, they are sold separately. Generally, we have three types of lids: "Easy-off" pushes on and off much like the lids on a deli container. "Heavy Duty Lids with Gasket" provide a tighter seal and have a tear-tab to remove. "Screw-Top Lid" is a two part design. A ring sits permanently on the lip of the bucket and the middle section screws on and off. We sell orange, white, and black lids to Home Depot on a regular basis. Our 5-gallon buckets are a standard size so any 5-gallon lid will fit.
No, but you can purchase them separately.
Yes, that is what I use them for... great for tomato’s & peppers.
These are excellent for planting. it doesn't come with a lid.
Hi Polly, you absolutely can use the 5-gallon bucket for above-ground gardening. You should drill some holes in the bottom for drainage, and put gravel or stones on the bottom to allow the water to seep through and keep your drain holes free of dirt. As for the lid, I'm not if it would work like you;re thinking. Maybe. If you turn the lid upside-down, there is about a quarter-inch depression which wouldn't hold much water; right-side up, there is no reservoir. You'd have to experiment a bit. The internet is loaded with resources on container gardening. Good luck!
Hi Lou, the short answer is yes. The longer answer depends on if you mean filled with lids or not. If the buckets are filled and you have lids, you should not stack higher than three. Anything over that becomes a safety issue. Also, how a stack with lids holds up is more a function of the lid. A .70 mil lid should withstand a stack of three buckets at 60lbs. If they are empty, the buckets will nest within each other with about 2" added by the bucket inside. You could easily stack all ten in the pack in one tower. Empty buckets shouldn't be stacked more than 5-6' tall for stability. You also may find that the suction created makes them hard to get a part - check the internet for ways to prevent this. (I told you it was a long story.)
Yes, We stack them 10 high.
They insert inside each other. You can stack 20+ at 8 foot high Terry
They come in a stack of 10. Empty, you could stack quite high. If full, remember that they require lids in order to stack.
Thanks. It's actually an internal HD measurement, so to speak. How much depth in the shelf does it take to stock. That makes sense.
Hi Bob, that always tripped me up too. There are three measurements: Width, height, and depth. In terms of the shelf measurements, depth is equal to what could be referred to as length. It doesn't refer to the the "depth" of the bucket but think of it as how deep the shelf has to be for it to sit on. Makes less sense when talking about a round item.
It is 14.5" in height. There is no dimension that is 22.5". The buckets are of decent quality.
