Ok...in bright sunlight, it's tough to see the led's flash. But if you shade it, I can see led's flashing. This is not a complicated instrument and one should not pay much for one of these.Works as it should IMO.

Not worth the plastic it's made from
First the tester lights are impossible to see during the day. They use some type of tiny filament bulbs that glow a weak orange when the pulse is detected. They should use LED's that would be highly visible. Second the lead for the ground probe is too short. If your fence wire is at 4 feet it barely reaches the ground. Finally the probe is about 4" long. With our rocky soil it can't be pushed in to the ground far enough to make good contact.

This product was an out of box failure.
This product did not work at all when purchased. It is such a simple product that the failure is inexcusible. The final test test, if any is performed, should have detected this.

        Good Product
Tester works fine to show whether a fence is carrying a charge and the lights indicate the amount of voltage. Would recommend where multiple voltage lights are desirable.
