The Zareba Gritted Crimping Sleeve 4-5 provides superior wire-gripping for strong splices. Quickly splice wire, in-line strainers or loops at end posts. Use three sleeves per splice for wire, two sleeves for end post loops and in-liner strainer attachment. Use with 12.5 to 13.5 gauge wire. Crimping tool is required. 25 sleeves per pack.

What crimping tool is needed for this?? I was told a needle nose plier with crimper would work. It does not. please let me know what tool I need.please.
You need a YQK300 Hydraulic crimper ant you will use the smallest #10 die.
I have the same question. Hard to find the right sized-tool that actually works - and they're pretty expensive too. Suggestions?
Title says for 9 gauge but description says for 12.5 gauge. Which is it?

The box it comes in say 9 G smooth or 12-1/2 Barbed. I have the same product from another store and it works on 9 G smooth wire with the correct crimper.
