IntelliLaser Pro Stud Sensor and Laser Line Level

Great for many projects that require accuracy. The stud finder is very reliable locating studs and with its additional "Continuous live wire detection" feature gives you an extra safety net with the project. Very simple symbols used for detection and the backlit feature makes reading so much easier. The laser is very handy and reaches farther than most projects require - so it's a plus. Overall great tool to have in your toolbag. Accurate and so easy to use. Used this project to hang multiple flat screen TVs, hang large paintings and other wall decors - where the features of laser for alignment and stud location came very handy.

Great product.. Too bad they couldn't create 1 product (out of the 2).

Got this for Christmas two years ago and I have used the stud finder a half dozen times because it doesn't like to work, and I cant find my (works every time <$20) other one. The stickies that are included well the stick to the paper they are attached to but that is about all. That is enough said about the stud finder. The level on the other hand is amazing. It doesn't stick to the wall with the stickies that come with it but its great i have hung several 6 foot long items ( Mirrors, paintings and etc) and the fact that the level shoots out over 10 feet is amazing I have even used it in corner applications and it bends around the corner up to 12 inches and that has helped with hanging shelves. I would expect something of that price to well work amazing every time but i cant say it does. I guess my walls are just too thin or there is a lot of junk in them and that tricks the stud finder to think there is a stud every 4-6 inches. Buy the laser level not the stud finder.

I bought this because it looked like quality, big mistake. I've learned that most all stanley products are useless pieces of plastic garbage. This product won't remotely do what it claims. I now read extensive reviews on products before I buy them and I warn you to stay away from all Stanley tool and otherwise.

OK, I am a geek, and the love of technology got better of me to buy this product. It is not that great though. The unit is bulky and heavy to hold against the wall and manoeuvre. You also have to keep the pressure on the switch while operating the unit, which makes it all more difficult. Each time that button is released accidentally, you must depress it again and wait for the unit to "boot up", which will eventually be frustrating. The second laser unit needs a special double-sided sticker tape to hold it on the wall. A set of tapes come with the unit but you have to buy more when they are gone. If this is the case, go with a similar product Ryobi has that holds itself on the wall by a suction cup. I eventually returned my IntelliLaser (my geeky-ego dented) and bought a Zircon StudSensor i65.
