Can the trays be washed in the dishwasher?
What's the difference between FD-61 and FD-60? Can the extra trays with 13.5" diameter (LT-2W ?) work for both models?
Might just be color since they both are 500 watts. I did get the additional trays I purchased at another website along with the fruit roll tray and 6 sheets for small items. + This thing is great I now believe every household should have one.

No. It’s on when you plug it in, and off when you unplug it.
Hello, This model does not have an on/off switch. Because of its analog dial, once the product is plugged in, you simply turn the dial to initial use. Unplug when use is no longer desired.

Does it have a thermostat and automatic shut off/ timer
No. It has a thermostat but no automatic shutoff timer. It turns on when you plug it in and to shut it off you have to unplug it. no on/off switch.
