Avante Icon 4-Slice Toaster

My wife and I got married in April 1995! We got this as a wedding gift, and it is still going strong!! Best toaster I've ever had, and my wife agrees as well, it has never failed us and still makes the best bagels and toast and toaster waffles! Kudos to T fal Corporation for this superior product, we've been through hundreds of coffee pots, and other small appliances, but this one is a true winner! Going in 27 years now, Thankyou!

I have crumbs inside the toaster and can't find a way of cleaning Cleaning the crumb trays only takes care of part of the problem.

I was so, so tired of short-lived toasters...doesn't matter the 'name brands.' Finally came across my T-fal Avante deluxe 4-slice toaster years ago. It's been years, it has worked flawlessly, bagel features, etc. Remember that Energizer Bunny? My T-fal does the same - it keeps on working. In the 'old days' you had appliances that did last a long time, now you have T-fal.

Nice wide slots for bagels, sliced croissants, has bagel and warm settings. relatively compact for a 4-slice toaster. Push-up levers do not lock, have to be held down while extracting finished product.
