Are the chairs comfortable? When the chairs are pushed in under the table, how many inches do they stick out?

The chairs were already together. There was minimal assembly on the table. It’s nice to have an extra set of hands because it’s heavy, very well made.

Yes, this table does have an umbrella hole. It has a removable plug for when you're not using an umbrella with the table that is hard to see in the pictures. I live at the beach and we have problems with outdoor furniture that will not stand up to heat, humidity and salt spray. What is polywood and will it stand up to those elements? What warranty comes with the set?
The warranty is for 20+ years. I would say this should hold up to the elements on the beach (we own a beach home also), however if you plan on using an umbrella it will not work.
POLYWOOD is made from 100% recycled material creating an HDPE product. This absolutely will stand up to the elements, there is a 20 year warranty. No chipping, cracking, peeling. To clean we recommend power washing once a year. You will never have to paint or stain this product. Each piece is solid color all the way through to ensure there is very minimal fading. This product is very heavy so it will not move or blow away with wind. Overall a very solid product made for the elements.
