How is this to be mounted? With screws or mastic?
We mounted ours with Loctite adhesive and then inserted non-corrosive screws. I called the company and they said we could use screws even though the instructions say to use finishing nails.
Held up well in strong wind with 4 screws.

I am replacing a rotted wooden round vent.
This item is decorative and is not a functional vent, it possesses a solid backing.
'Decorative' or 'Non-Functional' vents do not allow for air flow and do not have screens.
