Pump handle is difficult to operate

Try lubricating the inside of the barrel with some light oil spray. This should help the piston slide more easily. Do you have to keep pumping unit or does it gravity feed once primed
Thank you for reaching out to us. The transfer pump will start to siphon if the proper conditions are met. For a gravity fed siphon, the donor liquid must be above the receiving container. To start the siphon, makes sure the hose that is in the donor liquid is above the end of the hose in the receiving container. Begin to manually pump the transfer pump until the liquid starts to flow into the receiving container and then let the siphon action take over . Hopefully, this helps. Will this allow me to siphon gasoline from a Honda Odyssey? Our insurance company is totaling it for a broken axel, and I don't want to surrender 15 gallons of gasoline to them.

Siphoning gasoline from the fuel tank filler neck may not be possible because modern vehicle have and anti-theft check valve in the filler neck so gas cannot be easily stolen. You may need to detach the rubber fuel tank filler hose from the metal filler neck and siphon directly through the hose. Can I use this with gas

After using the pump, rinse with water and let them air dry. The little water spots will dissipate. If you like to expedite the drying, you can used compressed air from an air compressor or electronic cleaning can.
